I bought them on sale for 12.90. Unfortunately, I received a defective piece - the sound was distorted when connected via Bluetooth, and after 2 days of use, they completely stopped playing sound through Bluetooth. Currently, I have sent them to the service center and I am waiting for a response regarding repair or replacement. However, I will review the other aspects of the headphones based on the time I used them.
Firstly, regarding the sound, which is the most important aspect, when connected through the cable, it played flawlessly. The sound quality was very good, especially considering their size. The bass was very satisfactory and powerful. They didn't reach the volume levels of more expensive headphones, but they definitely fully covered my needs for music and movies that I tested them with. There was no distortion when using them with a wired connection, no matter how high I turned up the volume. Hopefully, after the repair/replacement from the service center, they will have the same sound quality when connected via Bluetooth. They will be the best value for money wireless headphones.
As for the build quality, they generally feel cheap due to the plastic material used for most of their construction. They are also foldable to take up less space during storage/transportation, but when I closed them, I felt like they could break with a little more force, so I was very careful. Additionally, the on/off switch is very stiff, and combined with its small size, it is difficult to turn the headphones on/off with one hand. Personally, I had to take them off every time I wanted to open or close them because the switch was quite inconvenient to use.
In terms of comfort, their ear cushions were quite soft (and relatively good quality), but due to their small size, I couldn't wear them for more than an hour continuously without feeling discomfort (although I don't have the smallest head, of course). However, they are very lightweight, and you don't even feel them on your head as extra weight. Also, since they are on-ear headphones, they can get quite warm on the ears, especially in combination with the current summer season, so you will definitely start sweating within an hour.
Their sound, at moderate to high volume, adequately covers the surrounding noise in an outdoor environment, but in a crowded and noisy place, they don't have the best sound isolation.
Finally, the battery life seemed quite satisfactory. When I took them out of the box, they had 30% battery, and with considerable use for movies and music, it took 2 days before they needed to be charged.
In summary, I give them 4 stars due to the average build quality, average comfort for a medium-sized head and above, and the fact that they stopped working within the first 48 hours. However, they are definitely worth the price of 12.90, and if after the repair, their sound through Bluetooth is comparable to the wired connection, then I will definitely give them 5 stars.
Update 29/03/2021:
In the end, Crystal Audio's official service replaced my headphones with a new pair. It took about 20 days from the moment I contacted them until the package with the new headphones arrived at my house. The new pair was perfect and fully functional, with no issues regarding the sound, whether connected via Bluetooth or wired. Since then, and up until now, the headphones have been working normally without any problems, with careful use and handling. Therefore, the headphones deserve 5 stars considering the price I paid, as I don't believe there is anything more competitive at this price.
Τα αγόρασα σε προσφορά στα 12.90. Δυστυχώς μου έτυχε ελαττωματικό κομμάτι - ο ήχος σε σύνδεση με bluetooth ήταν παραμορφωμενος και τελικά 2 μέρες μετά την αγορά σταμάτησαν να παίζουν τελείως ήχο απο bluetooth. Αυτή τη στιγμή τα έχω στείλει στο service και περιμένω απάντηση για επισκευή ή αντικατάσταση. Ωστόσο, θα κάνω review για όλα τα υπόλοιπα στοιχεία των ακουστικών για το διάστημα που τα χρησιμοποίησα.
Αρχικά, όσον αφορά τον ήχο που είναι και το βασικότερο, σε σύνδεση μέσω καλωδίου που έπαιζε απροβληματιστα. Πολύ καλή ποιότητα ήχου, ειδικά για το μέγεθος τους. Το μπάσο πολύ ικανοποιητικό και δυνατό. Δεν έφταναν τα επίπεδα έντασης άλλων ακριβότερων ακουστικών αλλά σίγουρα σε κάλυπτε πλήρως για μουσική και ταινίες που τα δοκίμασα. Καμία παραμόρφωση σε ενσύρματη σύνδεση, όσο πάνω κι αν εβαζες την ένταση. Μακάρι, μετά την επισκευή/αντικατάσταση απο το service, να έχει την ίδια ποιότητα ήχου και σε bluetooth σύνδεση. Θα πρόκειται για το καλύτερο vfm σε ασύρματα ακουστικά.
Όσον αφορά την ποιότητα κατασκευής, γενικά βγάζουν μια φτήνια λόγω πλαστικού που είναι κατασκευασμένα στο μεγαλύτερο μέρος τους. Επίσης, είναι αναδιπλουμενα για να πιάνουν μικρότερο χώρο κατα την αποθήκευση/μεταφορά αλλα οπότε τα έκλεινα ένιωθα οτι με λίγο ακόμα δύναμη μπορεί να σπάσουν οπότε ήμουν πολύ προσεκτικός. Επίσης, ο διακόπτης on/off είναι πολύ σκληρός και σε συνδυασμό με το μικρό του μέγεθος δεν μπορείς να ενεργοποιήσεις/απενεργοποιήσεις τα ακουστικά με το ενα χέρι. Προσωπικά έπρεπε να βγάζω κάθε φορά που ήθελα να τα ανοίξω ή να τα κλείσω επειδή ο διακόπτης ήταν αρκετά δύσχρηστος.
Όσον αφορά την άνεση, τα μαξιλαράκια τους ήταν αρκετά μαλακά (και φαίνονταν καλής ποιότητας σχετικά) αλλά λόγω του οτι είναι αρκετά μικρά σε μέγεθος δε μπόρεσα να τα φορέσω πάνω απο μια ώρα συνεχόμενα χωρίς να νιωσω ενόχληση (δεν εχω και το πιο μικρό κεφάλι βέβαια). Πάντως είναι πολύ ελαφριά και δεν τα νιώθεις καν στο κεφάλι σου σαν εξτρα βάρος. Επίσης, επειδή είναι on ear, είναι κι αρκετά ζεστά στα αυτιά και σε συνδυασμό με το καλοκαίρι τώρα, μεσα σε μια ώρα έχεις ιδρώσει σίγουρα.
Ο ήχος τους σε μέτρια έως δυνατή ένταση καλύπτει ικανοποιητικα τους θορύβους του γύρω περιβάλλοντος σου σε εναν εξωτερικό χώρο αλλά μέσα σε πολυκοσμία και φασαρία δεν έχει την καλύτερη ηχομόνωση.
Τέλος, από διάρκεια μπαταρίας μου φάνηκαν αρκετά ικανοποιητικά. Μόλις τα έβγαλα απο το κουτί είχαν 30% και με αρκετή χρήση σε ταινίες και μουσική, πήρε 2 μέρες να χρειαστούν φόρτιση.
Συνοψίζοντας, βάζω 4 αστέρια λόγω της μέτριας ποιότητας κατασκευής, της μέτριας άνεσης για ενα κεφάλι μεσαίου μεγέθους και πάνω και του οτι χάλασαν στο πρώτο 48ωρο. Σίγουρα αξίζουν για 12.90 πάντως, κι αν μετά την επισκευή τους ο ήχος τους μέσω Bluetooth είναι αντίστοιχος με αυτόν σε ενσύρματη σύνδεση, τότε βάζω σίγουρα 5 αστέρια.
Ενημέρωση 29/03/2021:
Εν τέλει το επίσημο service της Crystal Audio μου αντικαταστήσε τα ακουστικά με καινούργιο ζευγάρι, συνολικά πήρε περίπου 20 μέρες απο τη στιγμή που επικοινώνησα μαζί τους μέχρι να φτάσει στο σπίτι μου το πακέτο με τα νέα ακουστικά. Το καινούργιο ζευγάρι ήταν άριστο και πλήρως λειτουργικό, χωρίς κανένα θέμα με τον ήχο είτε συνδεμένο με bluetooth είτε ενσύρματα. Απο τότε και μέχρι σήμερα τα ακουστικά παίζουν κανονικά και χωρίς να έχουν παρουσιάσει κανένα πρόβλημα, με προσεκτική χρήση και μεταχείριση πάντα. Συνεπώς, τα ακουστικά αξίζουν τα 5 αστέρια στα χρήματα που τα πήρα καθώς δε πιστεύω ότι υπάρχει κάτι πιο ανταγωνιστικο σε αυτή τη τιμή.
