Description

Description

The Pest-Stop Sonic Bird bird deterrent stake emits predator hawk calls to deter pigeons, sparrows and other birds, as well as distress calls for starlings and gulls. It can be activated at regular intervals or by an infrared sensor that detects movement within a range of up to 15 m. The sounds do not harm birds, and the device is safe for other animals, pets, children and pregnant women.

It offers different sound emission settings: activation for 5 seconds each time movement is detected, or repeated calls lasting 5 seconds, with pauses of 5 or 10 seconds. The LED indicator shows the settings and flashes when the battery is low. For better, more consistent performance, connection to mains power via the Universal Power Kit is recommended. Results become noticeable within 2–4 weeks.

What do users say? AI-generated summary

Opinions are mixed, with some users saying the device effectively keeps birds away and appreciating its motion sensor and loud sound. It is also noted that it may work better when combined with other measures and used patiently. However, several users say it does not deter pigeons, while the loud sound is annoying and changing the settings requires opening the battery compartment.

Very good choice. It does what it says. It has a motion sensor and when the bird approaches, it emits a loud sound like a predator. The problem arises with the neighbors, who after a few days start complaining about the annoying sound.....

Just a few hours ago I received it...
Initial negative point is that in order to adjust the sound, volume, and time, you have to unscrew the lid where the batteries go...
The sound is quite loud, time will tell if it will be effective...

I saw it installed in a health store. I bought it and it has been working for 1 week with batteries. At the same time, the area was disinfected and nests with eggs were moved out of the area in combination with the machine (which withstands extreme weather conditions very well). There were about 10-12 persistent pigeons and we spotted one after a week within a 2-hour period and at a distance of 50 meters.

If the above actions are combined and there is patience for a few weeks, the problem is minimized and maybe even solved.

    A very good purchase.
