Description

The flagship telephoto lens in the Art series sets a new standard in the 135mm category for full-frame Sony E-mount cameras. It combines impressive optical sharpness with powerful perspective compression and an exceptionally bright aperture. It is an ideal tool for demanding portraiture, fashion, studio work and events. Its design minimizes axial chromatic aberration, maintaining clear contrast across the entire frame. It offers extremely fast autofocus and outstanding stability when shooting.

Optical Performance Art & Resolution 50MP+

The optical design comprises 13 elements in 10 groups, specially designed to support sensors with a resolution of 50 MP or higher. Minimizing axial chromatic aberration ensures excellent contrast and sharpness right to the edges. The bright maximum aperture of f/1.8, combined with 9 rounded blades, produces smooth, natural bokeh, fully isolating the subject from the background, with an angle of view of 18.2°.

HSM Motor, Close Focusing & Durability

The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) delivers fast, smooth, and precise autofocus on Sony E camera bodies. A minimum focusing distance of 87.5 cm and maximum magnification of 0.2x allow for tightly framed, detailed portraits. Measuring 91.4 x 114.9 mm and weighing 1130 g, it features an 82 mm front filter thread and comes with a lens hood, front and rear caps, and a carrying case.

  • This review is about the mount: Canon EF

an excellent lens! I use it for fashion photography! the only downside is the weight, but I am used to it with Sigma lenses, because they produce high-quality lenses! Its sharpness is the biggest asset of this lens! I use it from ƒ1.8 - ƒ2.8 and honestly, I am amazed at how sharp it is! If the weight doesn't bother you, I highly recommend it! (with a battery grip, the weight of the lens is balanced)

An excellent lens for portraits and more! Sharpness and color performance that fascinates! The only downside is the weight, but on the other hand, it shows the quality of its construction! In any case, all Sigma lenses have increased weight, but the quality you get in the photo makes up for it!! If you have a battery grip, it balances the weight and gives you good balance without tiring

Amazing lens. I usually tend to close the aperture of primes a bit to achieve greater sharpness, but this lens left me astonished with its sharpness even at 1.8. Worth every cent
