Specifically, this volume is designed to meet the needs of an introductory course in Quantum Mechanics - aimed simultaneously at physicists, chemists, engineers, and materials science students - while the second volume targets a more advanced course that will cover the mathematical structure of the theory, approximate methods, and recent developments in its conceptual foundations and quantum computing.
