And as for quality, I have no words. I should just mention that we once left it on at home with something small inside and came back after 2 hours and everything was fine.
We were afraid that the house would catch fire, but it just dried out what was inside. The thermostat worked perfectly and not even the toaster itself burned.
As if nothing had happened.
If it had more stars, I would give them to it.

Κ από ποιότητα δεν έχω λόγια. Να αναφερω μόνο ότι την είχαμε ξεχάσει αναμμένη στο σπίτι με κάτι μικρό μέσα κ γυρίσαμε μετά από 2 ώρες κ ήταν όλα καλά.
Φοβήθηκαμε ότι θα πάρουμε φωτιά αλλά απλώς ξεράθηκε αυτό που είχε μέσα. Ο θερμοστάτης λειτούργησε τέλεια κ δεν κάηκε καν η ίδια η τοστιέρα.
Σαν να μην έγινε τίποτα.

It definitely doesn't heat up very quickly because it doesn't have many watts, but otherwise it's amazing.... For those for whom speed is not a primary factor, it's one of the best options for its price. Also, for my taste, I prefer that it doesn't "press" the toast but makes it crispy with plenty of volume.

I have had this specific Rohnson R-2680 sandwich maker since December 2023. I can say with certainty that it is clearly better than all the others I have had. It makes the toast bread completely crispy and sometimes even toasts it. It also has removable plates that can be taken out to wash or to clean the device’s heating elements. The only slight downside is that it takes a little time to heat up. If it breaks, I will buy the same one again without hesitation. I highly recommend it.

Κάνει το ψωμί του τοστ τραγανό εντελώς και κάποιες φορές το φρυγανιζει. Έχει και αποσπώμενες πλάκες που αφαιρούνται για να τις πλύνεις ή και να καθαρίσεις και τις αντιστάσεις της συσκευής. Το μόνο λίγο αρνητικό είναι ότι θέλει λίγο χρόνο να ζεσταθεί. Αν χαλάσει θα ξαναπάρω την ίδια με κλειστά μάτια. Τη συνιστών ανεπιφύλακτα.

A very good and affordable sandwich maker, with removable plates. It takes 4-5 minutes to heat up fully and then in 5 minutes you have two very tasty and perfectly toasted sandwiches. Easy to clean and to "store". It doesn't have a button to turn it off, so you unplug it when you're done. Personally, this doesn't bother me at all.
Μία πολύ καλή και οικονομική τοστιέρα, με αποσπώμενες πλάκες. Θέλει 4-5 λεπτά για να ζεσταθεί πλήρως και μετά σε 5 λεπτά έχεις δύο νοστιμότατα και πολύ σωστά ψημένα τοστ. Εύκολη στον καθαρισμό και στην "αποθήκευση" της. Δεν έχει κουμπί για να κλείνει, οπότε βγάζεις την πρίζα όταν τελειώσεις. Προσωπικά δε με ενοχλεί καθόλου αυτό.

It doesn't have the power to toast a sandwich.

This is the second one I buy, the first one broke because it fell in the kitchen, I had it for 3 years! It is of quality construction, it heats up easily, if I remember correctly it takes about 3 to 5 minutes... It makes two large crispy toasts but also one large sandwich. On the device there are also 2 indicator lights, one red and one green, one shows it's operating and the other shows it's ready for grilling when it turns off.

Φτιαχνει τραγανα 2 μεγαλα τοστ αλλα και ενα μεγαλο σαντουιτς. Πανω στην συσκευη εχει και 2 λυχνιες ειδοποιησης κοκκινη και πασινη, η μια οτι ειναι σε λειτουργια και η αλλη οτι ειναι ετοιμη για ψησιμο οταν σβησει.
I use it almost exclusively for classic toast and I can say that it makes them almost perfectly.
A negative is that it doesn't have a switch (it's not the best thing to plug and unplug it with a 900 W load), but this can be easily solved with an external single or multi-socket with a switch. Most likely, however, you will need an external power strip or extension cord anyway because the cable is very short.
I always use it by putting the toast in directly without preheating and the cooking time is 5-6 minutes (depends on the ambient temperature and the temperature of the toast if it was in the fridge or outside).
The following is not a review, it's just a way of use only for users more familiar with technology.
Specifically, I use a smart wi-fi socket and program it on my phone as follows:
-I put the toast (usually cold from the fridge), press the on switch on the socket and leave.
-In 4 minutes I get a first notification to be on standby.
-When the toaster reaches temperature and stops, the socket recognizes it (power <100 W) and turns off as well so the toast doesn't get completely burnt if I forget it for some reason.
-In 30 seconds I get a second notification to be on standby.
-In 25 seconds I get a third notification and I go immediately and take it out.
In short, I put the toast in, press a button, leave and then go back and take it out without checking in between.
-When the toaster cools down I clean the bottom plate from crumbs or any melted cheese.
I could skip the first 2 notifications, but I keep them to be on standby because during that time I'm always busy with something else.

Τη χρησιμοποιώ πάντα βάζοντας το τοστ απ' ευθείας χωρίς προθέρμανση και ο χρόνος ψησίματος είναι 5-6 λεπτά (εξαρτάται από τη θερμοκρασία περιβάλλοντος και τη θερμοκρασία του τοστ αν ήταν στο ψυγείο ή έξω).
Τα παρακάτω δεν αφορούν κριτική, είναι ένας τρόπος χρήσης μόνο για χρήστες πιο εξοικειωμένους με την τεχνολογία.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα χρησιμοποιώ ένα smart wi-fi μονόπριζο και με προγραμματισμό στο κινητό ως εξής:
-Βάζω το τοστ (κρύο συνήθως από το ψυγείο) , πατάω τον διακόπτη on στο μονόπριζο και φεύγω.
-Σε 4 λεπτά μου έρχεται μια πρώτη ειδοποίηση για να είμαι σε ετοιμότητα.
- Όταν πιάσει θερμοκρασία η τοστιέρα και σταματήσει, το μονόπριζο το αναγνωρίζει (ισχύς <100 W) και κλείνει κι αυτό για να μην γίνει το τοστ εντελώς κάρβουνο αν το ξεχάσω για κάποιον λόγο.
- Σε 30 δευτερόλεπτα μου έρχεται δεύτερη ειδοποίηση για να είμαι σε ετοιμότητα.
- Σε 25 δευτερόλετα μου έρχεται 3η ειδοποίηση και πάω αμέσως και το βγάζω.
Δηλαδή εν συντομία, βάζω το τοστ, πατάω ένα κουμπί , φεύγω και πάω μετά και το βγάζω χωρίς να κάνω κανένα έλεγχο ενδιάμεσα.
- Όταν κρυώσει η τοστιέρα καθαρίζω την κάτω πλάκα από τα ψίχουλα ή από τυχόν λιωμένα τυριά.
Θα μπορούσα να παραλείψω τις 2 πρώτες ειδοποιήσεις, τις έχω όμως για να είμαι σε ετοιμότητα επειδή σ' αυτό το διάστημα είμαι πάντα απασχολημένος με κάτι άλλο .

Την αγοράσαμε πριν 2 χρόνια κ είναι η καλύτερη τοστιέρα που είχαμε ποτέ. Δεν τα καίει κ ελέγχεις πλήρως το ποσό θέλεις να ψήσεις το οτιδήποτε.
Κ από ποιότητα δεν έχω λόγια. Να αναφερω μόνο ότι την είχαμε ξεχάσει αναμμένη στο σπίτι με κάτι μικρό μέσα κ γυρίσαμε μετά από 2 ώρες κ ήταν όλα καλά.
Φοβήθηκαμε ότι θα πάρουμε φωτιά αλλά απλώς ξεράθηκε αυτό που είχε μέσα. Ο θερμοστάτης λειτούργησε τέλεια κ δεν κάηκε καν η ίδια η τοστιέρα.
Σαν να μην έγινε τίποτα.
Αν είχε περισσότερα αστέρια θα της έβαζα.
Η φωτό είναι αφότου την ξεχάσαμε αναμμένη.
It definitely doesn't heat up very quickly because it doesn't have many watts, but otherwise it's amazing.... For those for whom speed is not a primary factor, it's one of the best options for its price. Also, for my taste, I prefer that it doesn't "press" the toast but makes it crispy with plenty of volume.
Σίγουρα δεν ζεσταίνει πολύ γρήγορα λόγω ότι δεν έχει πολλά wat αλλά κατά τα άλλα είναι απίθανη.... Για όσους δεν παίζει πρωταρχικό ρόλο η ταχύτητα είναι απ'τις καλύτερες επιλογές για την τιμή της. Επίσης για τα δικά μου γούστα είναι προτιμότερο που δεν "πατάει" το τοστ αλλά το κάνει τραγανό με αρκετό όγκο.

I have had this specific Rohnson R-2680 sandwich maker since December 2023. I can say with certainty that it is clearly better than all the others I have had. It makes the toast bread completely crispy and sometimes even toasts it. It also has removable plates that can be taken out to wash or to clean the device’s heating elements. The only slight downside is that it takes a little time to heat up. If it breaks, I will buy the same one again without hesitation. I highly recommend it.
Έχω την συγκεκριμένη τοστιέρα Rohnson R-2680 από το Δεκέμβριο του 23. Μπορώ να πω με βεβαιότητα ότι είναι σαφώς καλύτερη από όλες τις άλλες που είχα. Κάνει το ψωμί του τοστ τραγανό εντελώς και κάποιες φορές το φρυγανιζει. Έχει και αποσπώμενες πλάκες που αφαιρούνται για να τις πλύνεις ή και να καθαρίσεις και τις αντιστάσεις της συσκευής. Το μόνο λίγο αρνητικό είναι ότι θέλει λίγο χρόνο να ζεσταθεί. Αν χαλάσει θα ξαναπάρω την ίδια με κλειστά μάτια. Τη συνιστών ανεπιφύλακτα.
Very good grilling, and proper, the toast is not squashed at all and it is crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. The plates do not stick and are washed very easily. Since I am a big fan of toast and I have researched it a lot, it is one of the best toasters I have bought. It does not have an on/off switch as has already been mentioned but that is a detail
Πάρα πολύ καλό ψήσιμο, και σωστό, δεν πατιέται καθόλου το τόστ και είναι τραγανό εξω , μαλακό μεσα.Οι πλάκες δεν κολλάνε και πλένονται πολύ εύκολα.Επειδη ειμαι μεγάλος φάν του τόστ και το εχω ψάξει παρα πολυ ,ειναι απο τις καλύτερες τοστιέρες που εχω παρει.Δεν εχει διακόπτη on/off οπως εχει ηδη ειπωθεί αλλά ειναι λεπτομέρεια
I have bought two. I got the first one in 2020 and the second one in 2026, when the first one finally "gave up" after daily use, many times a day.
You can easily make toasties for the kids, it also grills larger sandwiches, and in general it is a very value for money sandwich maker that I really did not regret buying again after the first one broke down.
Έχω αγοράσει δύο. Την πρώτη την πήρα το 2020 και τη δεύτερη το 2026, όταν πλέον μας “άφησε” η πρώτη μετά από καθημερινή χρήση, πολλές φορές μέσα στη μέρα.
Φτιάχνεις εύκολα τοστάκια για τα παιδιά, ψήνει και μεγαλύτερα σάντουιτς, ενώ γενικά είναι μια πολύ value for money τοστιέρα που πραγματικά δεν μετάνιωσα καθόλου που την αγόρασα ξανά μετά τη βλάβη της πρώτης.
A very good and affordable sandwich maker, with removable plates. It takes 4-5 minutes to heat up fully and then in 5 minutes you have two very tasty and perfectly toasted sandwiches. Easy to clean and to "store". It doesn't have a button to turn it off, so you unplug it when you're done. Personally, this doesn't bother me at all.
Μία πολύ καλή και οικονομική τοστιέρα, με αποσπώμενες πλάκες. Θέλει 4-5 λεπτά για να ζεσταθεί πλήρως και μετά σε 5 λεπτά έχεις δύο νοστιμότατα και πολύ σωστά ψημένα τοστ. Εύκολη στον καθαρισμό και στην "αποθήκευση" της. Δεν έχει κουμπί για να κλείνει, οπότε βγάζεις την πρίζα όταν τελειώσεις. Προσωπικά δε με ενοχλεί καθόλου αυτό.

Honest for as long as it lasted, after 6 years of life it suddenly stopped working completely while it was operating normally without interruption. No complaints though, relatively fast and the green light-thermostat was sufficient for notification. We're moving on to others now

It doesn't have the power to toast a sandwich.
After 2 or at most 3 minutes it turns off automatically and you have to wait for it to turn back on so the toast can be properly cooked.

This is the second one I buy, the first one broke because it fell in the kitchen, I had it for 3 years! It is of quality construction, it heats up easily, if I remember correctly it takes about 3 to 5 minutes... It makes two large crispy toasts but also one large sandwich. On the device there are also 2 indicator lights, one red and one green, one shows it's operating and the other shows it's ready for grilling when it turns off.
Ειναι δευτερη που αγοραζω, η πρωτη λογο πτωσης στην κουζινα χαλασε, την ειχα 3 χρονια! Ειναι ποιοτικη καυασκευης, ζεσταινετε ευκολα περιπου αν θυμαμαι θελει 3 με 5 λεπτα... Φτιαχνει τραγανα 2 μεγαλα τοστ αλλα και ενα μεγαλο σαντουιτς. Πανω στην συσκευη εχει και 2 λυχνιες ειδοποιησης κοκκινη και πασινη, η μια οτι ειναι σε λειτουργια και η αλλη οτι ειναι ετοιμη για ψησιμο οταν σβησει.
I use it almost exclusively for classic toast and I can say that it makes them almost perfectly.
A negative is that it doesn't have a switch (it's not the best thing to plug and unplug it with a 900 W load), but this can be easily solved with an external single or multi-socket with a switch. Most likely, however, you will need an external power strip or extension cord anyway because the cable is very short.
I always use it by putting the toast in directly without preheating and the cooking time is 5-6 minutes (depends on the ambient temperature and the temperature of the toast if it was in the fridge or outside).
The following is not a review, it's just a way of use only for users more familiar with technology.
Specifically, I use a smart wi-fi socket and program it on my phone as follows:
-I put the toast (usually cold from the fridge), press the on switch on the socket and leave.
-In 4 minutes I get a first notification to be on standby.
-When the toaster reaches temperature and stops, the socket recognizes it (power <100 W) and turns off as well so the toast doesn't get completely burnt if I forget it for some reason.
-In 30 seconds I get a second notification to be on standby.
-In 25 seconds I get a third notification and I go immediately and take it out.
In short, I put the toast in, press a button, leave and then go back and take it out without checking in between.
-When the toaster cools down I clean the bottom plate from crumbs or any melted cheese.
I could skip the first 2 notifications, but I keep them to be on standby because during that time I'm always busy with something else.
Τη χρησιμοποιώ σχεδόν αποκλειστικά για κλασικα τοστ και μπορώ να πω πως τα κάνει σχεδόν τέλεια.
Αρνητικό το ότι δεν έχει διακόπτη (δεν είναι και ότι καλύτερο να βάζεις - βγάζεις την μπρίζα με φορτίο 900 W) αλλά λύνεται εύκολα με ένα εξωτερικό μονόπριζο ή πολύπριζο με διακόπτη. Το πιθανότερο πάντως είναι πως χρειάζεται ούτως ή άλλως εξωτερικό πολύπριζο ή μπαλαντέζα επειδή το καλώδιο είναι πολύ κοντό.
Τη χρησιμοποιώ πάντα βάζοντας το τοστ απ' ευθείας χωρίς προθέρμανση και ο χρόνος ψησίματος είναι 5-6 λεπτά (εξαρτάται από τη θερμοκρασία περιβάλλοντος και τη θερμοκρασία του τοστ αν ήταν στο ψυγείο ή έξω).
Τα παρακάτω δεν αφορούν κριτική, είναι ένας τρόπος χρήσης μόνο για χρήστες πιο εξοικειωμένους με την τεχνολογία.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα χρησιμοποιώ ένα smart wi-fi μονόπριζο και με προγραμματισμό στο κινητό ως εξής:
-Βάζω το τοστ (κρύο συνήθως από το ψυγείο) , πατάω τον διακόπτη on στο μονόπριζο και φεύγω.
-Σε 4 λεπτά μου έρχεται μια πρώτη ειδοποίηση για να είμαι σε ετοιμότητα.
- Όταν πιάσει θερμοκρασία η τοστιέρα και σταματήσει, το μονόπριζο το αναγνωρίζει (ισχύς <100 W) και κλείνει κι αυτό για να μην γίνει το τοστ εντελώς κάρβουνο αν το ξεχάσω για κάποιον λόγο.
- Σε 30 δευτερόλεπτα μου έρχεται δεύτερη ειδοποίηση για να είμαι σε ετοιμότητα.
- Σε 25 δευτερόλετα μου έρχεται 3η ειδοποίηση και πάω αμέσως και το βγάζω.
Δηλαδή εν συντομία, βάζω το τοστ, πατάω ένα κουμπί , φεύγω και πάω μετά και το βγάζω χωρίς να κάνω κανένα έλεγχο ενδιάμεσα.
- Όταν κρυώσει η τοστιέρα καθαρίζω την κάτω πλάκα από τα ψίχουλα ή από τυχόν λιωμένα τυριά.
Θα μπορούσα να παραλείψω τις 2 πρώτες ειδοποιήσεις, τις έχω όμως για να είμαι σε ετοιμότητα επειδή σ' αυτό το διάστημα είμαι πάντα απασχολημένος με κάτι άλλο .
Very good but it has a very short cable to the point that where I have it now it makes things a bit difficult for me. If you have a socket very close by you won't have a problem

It is a fantastic sandwich maker. This matters because it doesn't press the toast bread too much, so they stay fluffy! It is very easy to clean with the removable plates.

I was influenced by the comments and bought it, but unfortunately within a few months the cable connecting the top to the bottom part broke and we threw it away.

It toasts well and quickly. Large toast breads fit comfortably on the plates and there is also enough space between them so that a baguette can fit in height. My only problem is that mine toasts a bit unevenly, meaning the front part heats up more than the back and it shows on the bread, however the difference is not big enough to be a problem.
Ψήνει καλά και γρήγορα. Χωράνε άνετα τα μεγάλα ψωμιά τοστ στις πλάκες και επίσης έχουν αρκετό κενό μεταξύ τους ώστε να χωράει και μπαγκέτα στο ύψος. We bought it 2 years ago and it is the best toaster we have ever had. It doesn't burn things and you have full control over how much you want to toast anything.
And as for quality, I have no words. I should just mention that we once left it on at home with something small inside and came back after 2 hours and everything was fine.
We were afraid that the house would catch fire, but it just dried out what was inside. The thermostat worked perfectly and not even the toaster itself burned.
As if nothing had happened.
