The E.G.E.N.I.M.A. has been implemented in practice many times and has astonishing results. It is the product of 35 years of clinical observation and treatment of hundreds of individuals, who faced the entire range of psychopathology, from mild disorders to severe personality disorganization.
During these years, I began to recognize the existence of specific parenting and educational patterns that largely determine, beyond genetics, the character and personality of children.
Essentially, the E.G.E.N.I.M.A. is a guide not only for what parents should do but also for what they should not do in order to protect their child from psychological distress and insecurities, dangerous temptations (substance use), bullying, and more.
Children whose parents respect them and show it, who help them develop a strong EGO, become individuals filled with self-confidence, self-esteem, independence, and personal efficacy.
