Diplomatico Barbet Rum No2 from the special distillation series follows the Barbet distillation system, specifically No2, which was created in France and transferred to the distillery in 1959.
The Barbet Column is made of 100% copper and ages in American oak barrels for 4 years using high-quality sugarcane molasses.
Golden color with an intensely aromatic nose of tropical fruits and oak providing a unique and balanced bouquet. Dominant aromas are mango, passion fruit, caramel, and oak. On the palate, it is smooth with hints of citrus.
It is noteworthy that Diplomatico rum holds the DOC (Protected Denomination of Origin) Ron de Venezuela.
