Within all the explosive contradictions that compose the phenomenon of Bellou, there is one that has never been questioned by anyone: the uniqueness of her voice and her unparalleled interpretative contribution, which places her among those who toiled, sacrificed, and contributed to the evolution of the history of Greek song, and will dominate the memory of our people and our land.
I grappled with time, with the harsh and difficult eras of our land, with the bittersweet life and the great soul of our people, but primarily I grappled with the life of a person who always walked against the wind, yet most of the time hand in hand with the struggles of the people. We are no longer allowed to attribute any mistakes to this person, who fought countless battles for her personal freedom. The only mistakes, perhaps, were her passions. But we call them that in our own language. In the wooden language of logic from which few of us can escape. However, we owe respect to those who "escape" because they want to be free.
