I bought it for its supposed directionality. I put it on my camera, thinking... great, I'll avoid lapel microphones! Unfortunately, it was a complete disappointment. You can hear everything. Background noises, side noises, everything in general. Unless there are settings that I haven't discovered yet. I will come back if necessary, or I hope to read experiences from other owners.
edit 14-3-2024. It becomes directional when you use it alone with a memory card inserted on top of it!!! If you connect it to the camera, it won't give you the sound it should. It will do what I described above.
Το πήρα για την κατευθυντικότητά του υποτίθεται. Το έβαλα στην κάμερά μου, λέω... ωραία γλυτώνω απο τα μικρόφωνα πέτου! Δυστυχώς όμως, πλήρης απογοήτευση. Ακούγονται όλα. Πίσω ήχοι, πλάγιοι ήχοι, τα πάντα γενικά. Εκτός κι αν υπάρχουν ρυθμίσεις που δεν τις έχω ανακαλύψει. Θα επανέλθω αν χρειαστεί, ή ελπίζω να διαβάσω και εμπειρίες άλλων κατόχων.
edit 14-3-2024. Κατευθυντικό γίνεται όταν το βάλεις να γράψει μόνο του με κάρτα μνήμης τοποθετημένη επάνω του!!! Εαν το κουμπώσεις στην κάμερα, δεν θα σου δώσει τον ήχο που πρέπει. Θα κάνει αυτά που περιέγραψα πιο πάνω.
