The watermelon is a dud! I got it as a raincoat for two-hour deliveries. The first year it held up. The second year the membrane broke. It's like wearing a windbreaker for rain, it's completely useless!!!
I'm talking about the nordcode from the description and not the nordcap they have in the photo.

After quite some time in the rain, a bit of water gets through the main zipper, I do not recommend it for delivery use as you need to wear it over your jacket to be sure you won't get wet.

I use the bicycle in the winter to go to work, which means heavy rains... Water never got inside. Also, regarding the cold, I wore a sweatshirt, a jacket, and the raincoat on top, and I never felt cold... this is probably because the raincoat is also windproof (at least up to 25Kmh) and the heat I produced while cycling was not lost.

I got it as a gift for my boyfriend for Christmas along with the matching pants. He has really enjoyed it! They keep some warmth inside too

Very good application, the 2XL fits over 56 Dainese jackets. The velcro closes all correctly and as it should. It also fits very well at the neck and has the correct height. Tested in heavy rain on 23/12 in Athens from Ilion to Kallithea, nothing got through, nor did I feel wet inside. The external pockets also remained dry. We will see about durability over time.
P.S. It does not come with a storage bag

In the first year it was good, in the second the pants after a point don't hold anything and rain gets in no matter what you wear underneath. If you wear motorcycle pants it holds up, if you wear jeans it gets very wet. The jacket so far is good.

In terms of value for money, it's great.
Tested during all-day delivery in heavy rain, it lets water through but wearing a second waterproof layer inside, not a drop gets on your clothes.
Good quality construction and relatively comfortable compared to other waterproofs.
I would buy it again for 30 euros

Material is way better than I expected, so if not abused it should last for a long time I think.
I normally wear medium, so I ordered medium size, but it fits comfortably over my thickest jacket. It's not completely water resistant, but catches most of the rain, like 70%. As for cold protection, it's effective.

Very good waterproof with also very good fit over the regular jacket. Of course, what matters is the effectiveness. During a ride in torrential rain for over 2 hours, not a drop got in. That says it all. I hope its waterproofing will last over time.
Update 10/2025 After more than 2 years, it has lost its waterproofing and in moderate rain it lets water in, mainly on the arms at the elbow area from the inside.
I don't know if other waterproofs would last longer over time.

Distributors avoid it... In the first winter everything is fine. In the second one, after an hour in the water, it leaks, the water passes through and it's like you're not wearing anything. Luckily, I kept the old one and I do my job with it.
(Under the same conditions, my pants, which are from a different brand, didn't let a single drop or moisture in).

I bought it for my husband. He usually wears xlarge shirts and it fits comfortably over his jacket. It takes up a little space on the motorcycle, so he keeps it there permanently. We'll see how durable it is over time.

First of all, whatever size you wear, it fits perfectly. I ordered my regular size XL and it fit exactly as I wanted over the jacket. I haven't experienced rain yet, but I will write about it when I try it. Velcro on pockets, zippers, and sleeves make everything close very well, and the fabric looks very good. Also, the zipper has double fabric that prevents water from getting in (one layer overlaps the other and then the velcro closes over the zipper)

Very good waterproof. I had it in a 45-minute continuous rainstorm and nothing passed through. Worth every penny and more.
