See allThe mount is appreciated mainly for its attractive, understated design and easy, convenient installation. Some say it holds the phone even on bumpy roads when the metal plate is positioned correctly. However, many find the magnet weak, especially with heavier phones or a case, causing the device to slip or fall.
With the case you forget it
bare the phone holds it but not enthusiastically
on the contrary, in a small bag or pocket it has disappeared
In vertical placement, the Poco X3 Pro does not hold. If it is placed on a slope, something happens, but it requires attention and since there is also a case on the mobile, things become difficult. Of course, placing it on a slope in the summer results in the mobile overheating because it is exposed to the sun.
Unfortunately, regardless of the placement of the magnetic plate (inside/outside the phone case), the magnet failed to hold the phone (iPhone 11, no bulky case). It's a shame because it has a very nice design
I give two stars not because the magnet is not strong enough or because the product is of low quality. On the contrary, BASEUS products are generally of very good quality. However, the 3M tape on the back to stick on surfaces simply does not stick. In my case, I got it not to hold a phone but the garage controller, but it didn't hold that either. What can I say. Maybe I just got unlucky.
I got one like this and one of those that go into the air vent. This one doesn't have such a strong magnet. The phone moves a little bit occasionally, but it hasn't fallen even once. Not in potholes or turns. It is beautiful and discreet. I highly recommend it!
