Paraphrasing Spinoza's saying ("God is indifferent"), Alexis Stamatis speaks to us about a state of life unaffected, apathetic, indifferent to the passions of the characters. Love triangles or quartets, a familial slaughterhouse, a dance of existential descents alternate in a light atmosphere of chamber drama.
With a clear theatrical inclination, Stamatis in "Life" represents the cry (like the eponymous painting by Munch) of a complacent present that refuses to surrender to the rotting memories and the stormy expectations of the protagonists.
