This study aims to provide a brief overview of the political history and culture of the Greeks in Asia Minor during the Middle Ages, in light of the most recent literature. It is not intended for specialists, but for scholars who are unfamiliar with the relevant issues of Asia Minor and usually unaware of the latest resources. It partially fills the gap in specialized literature on Asia Minor, which is so vast that it would require much more time to cover comprehensively. However, the references to the most important resources in this study allow for future revisions and updates of the specialized books on Asia Minor by Texter and Le Bas, according to current needs. Despite its brevity, this study is useful because it provides information and guidance that is not readily accessible to the general public, without repeating the already translated book by Le Bas.
