Durostick D-9 acrylic cementitious waterproofing coating is applied by brushing onto roof tiles and exposed mortar used to secure ridge and verge tiles, helping prevent water ingress and cover hairline cracks. It helps waterproof cracked tiles and reduces the leaching of salts caused by watering from clay pots, jars and planters. This breathable cement mortar is classified as a concrete surface protection product (c) in accordance with EN 1504-2.
Mix with 1.5 L of water. The pot life is 45 minutes. Apply in 3 coats, each 1 mm thick, allowing 1–2 hours between coats. Coverage: 1.3 kg/m²/mm of coat thickness. Protect the finished surface from high temperatures, rain and frost for 48 hours. Store in the factory-sealed packaging in a dry, shaded place for 18 months from the date of manufacture. Contains Portland cement.
