One of the best purchases I have made. I wanted a saw to cut branches on mainly pine trees at a height of 5-6 meters without using a ladder. I bought this specific saw along with its pole (Multi-Star ZM V4).

It cuts branches with a diameter of 15 centimeters with great ease in just a few seconds. You simply place the saw on the branch and pull with the pole. Due to the curve of the saw and the angle it makes with the pole, it hooks onto the branch and all you have to do is pull downwards. It doesn't require tremendous physical condition and strength, but in any case, it is still a saw, and like all manual saws, it requires some strength. If someone wants to work with it for hours on high branches, they should have good physical condition.

The pole is of excellent construction and durable. It never seemed to reach its limits.

The saw claims to have a 30-year warranty and it doesn't break even from a 10-meter fall. I haven't tested it, but it is particularly important because with large branches, you have to throw the saw away and run when it falls because it may get stuck and you won't be able to take it with you.

The angle it makes at the beginning helps tremendously in pulling the saw with the pole, so that the saw stops and we don't lose the cut we have started.

As a standalone saw, I compared it to the classic Japanese saw samurai that costs around 15-20€. They almost make the same cut. Just this one is a bit sturdier and heavier.

Overall, a good and worthy purchase, especially in combination with the 4-meter aluminum pole that provides real cutting height of about 5.5 meters

The first impression: The best but also the most expensive pruning saw I have ever used. Excellent, I cut a trunk of about 20 centimeters without much effort. Four stars because I don't know its durability over time.
