The present volume is based on proceedings of the Conference entitled "US-European relations under the Bush administration" which was sponsored by the Constantinos Karamanlis Institute for Democracy (CKID) and the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) / Johns Hopkins University in Athens, on June 7th, 2001.

The volume is organized according to the program of the Conference around the following topics: "The new Europe and the new administration", "European Integration: Implications for US-European Relations and the Mediterranean" and "The Balkans and Greek-American relations".
