After a month and something... of conservative use due to a very old graphics card (gtx470) that did not support such a beastly resolution, I finally got a graphics card that can perform as well as possible with such a monitor (Saphire RX580 Nitro+). Both were purchased at amazing offers from a well-known computer and technology store that is not known for its best prices. ANYWAY, REGARDING THE PRODUCT... I WAS AMAZED BY THE SCREEN. Incredible resolution... perfect colors to the point where I think that the colors on all other screens are washed out with chlorine!!!! It is also very decent in gaming. Everything activated by the Ati Radeon program makes a difference!!! HDR appeared in the WINDOWS settings and makes a difference in videos and movies. The stand is not metallic in any case, as I read in some reviews, it must be some alloy and I can't say that it offers any special touch. One big downside I believe is that the stand should be adjustable, but LG had the idea to release another model which, however, is not worth the price difference. If you want, you can get a stand from the market at a very low price.
In general, though, it is currently the absolute value for money as they say...
I hope I helped any undecided ones!!!!
29/11/2023, exactly 5 years later and with 8839 hours of operation, unfortunately, the panel started to have very intense backlight bleeding with faded corners and when the PC is turned off, red corners, which others also mention for IPS panels. The bad thing is that it didn't give me any sign to expect it, not that it would have changed anything, but just to prepare myself. Unfortunately, it is not covered and it is not worth replacing, so I have to wait for it to completely break and eventually get a new monitor.
Note that strangely enough, it happened the one time I unplugged it and changed its position!!!
