I didn't realize immediately that it could be because of the cream, so I continued using it. But it was already too late because my eyes, besides being swollen, were also irritated, dry, and red. It was an unfortunate purchase, I wouldn't buy it again.

However, I don't know if it provides the hydration it should. I don't think I noticed any difference in dark circles, maybe minimal, but I have a severe issue. Overall, I liked its non-greasy lightweight texture.
