What do users say? AI-generated summary

Users generally consider it reliable and affordable, praising its rich lather and effective performance, even on coarse beards. They also mention that it holds up to frequent use and that the bristles soften over time. However, it may feel harsh at first and need breaking in, while some users report shedding or an unpleasant smell.

  • I have very coarse beard hair; it is the only brush that can tame my hairs.
I haven't noticed any smell like other users.
As for the quality of the lather, I think it also depends on what soap/cream you use

Yes, at first the bristles are a bit stiff, which is logical, but with use they soften. I didn't notice any smell at first. It creates a rich lather, is dense, and I didn't lose a single bristle during the first shave. It seems to be of good quality and is definitely worth its price. I would definitely buy it again

  • At first it might be difficult for you, because the bristles are relatively long, but over time they soften and sit very well on the face. Good choice

I have no basis for comparison with another brush since this is my first one.

Very good brush, it holds enough lather and spreads it evenly on the skin. Quite soft.

On the downside, with every shave at least one hair is lost. Maybe this is normal, I don't know...

I like it a lot, it's my first boar brush and for my coarse barbwire facial hair it works great, especially if i have a few days of growth.
lathers nicely, exfoliates and doesn't shed.
be warned the handle is big, you might have a tough time finding a suitable stand.

I don't have any experience with boar brushes as I only have one brush from the cheap ones... I prefer the synthetic ones that I have, they are easy to use with a velvety lathering and I wouldn't change them for anything...
However, for sure you need a boar brush for hard soaps and this brush is great... a bristle brush with a soft texture for boar but with a cheap handle... you don't need anything more for the few occasions when you don't use the synthetic ones...

The brush loses quite a few bristles and doesn't have a very pleasant smell, even though I have washed it several times!

For the money, it is very worth it. It needs to be worked on quite a bit to soften up, but it does its job and more. Obviously, no matter what you do to it, it will always be a pig and will never become a swan, but it is a very good value for money.

You must be recently initiated into traditional shaving to give 5 stars to a boar brush.
Come on guys, rule number one is badger first, then synthetic (they compete in some cases), and lastly the sweaty boar brush... the price is equally disappointing.
Those of you who can, spend a little more money and go for the first two, it's really worth it.

Very good boar bristle brush, with enough resistance without being too hard. Before using it, make foam 2-3 times on your hand to get rid of the smell. It's worth it!

Nice big brush (recommended for big-bodied men), made by Omega. It creates a nice lather, is moderately soft, not velvety, it's a classic barber brush, it softens even more over time and use. It has a nice feel, holds plenty of water. As for the scent, since it's boar bristle, it's barely noticeable. The brush is complete.
