I bought them on sale for 60 euros and after 1 year of daily use (3-7 hours), I believe I have a fairly good picture.
First of all, I have to say that in my opinion, they are not worth the price they are currently at (80 euros + shipping). Although it is a very good headset, I believe there are much better options in the 80-100 euro range. After 1 year of mainly gaming use, here's what I have to say:
Pros:
-Clear sound with strong bass. The only adjustment I made was to activate the bass boost from the Windows sound control panel. The sound quality did not change at all, on the contrary, the bass in songs sounds louder (obviously) and the sound in games became more "realistic."
-Good microphone. My voice sounds quite clear. There are 2 small issues that I cannot solve, which I will talk about below.
-Quite comfortable. Relatively lightweight, after several hours of continuous use, you feel some discomfort, but I think it's reasonable.
Cons:
-The ear cushions have started to deteriorate and black pieces are coming off. It's logical for this to happen at some point, but I didn't expect it so soon.
-"Issues" with the microphone.
1) I cannot say for sure if it's a microphone issue or not. Specifically, I use the Xbox Game Bar of Windows 10 Pro to record clips from games. The microphone sound in these clips sounds as if I'm speaking from a hands-free mobile device. However, this problem was solved by using a different application, so I'm not sure if it's the microphone's fault or just the Windows program.
2) When I'm on a call (usually on Discord), the other participants can hear what I'm hearing if the volume is above 50-60%, and this is annoying for them when we're playing a game that requires concentration. As far as I know, this problem is caused by the fact that the headphones are connected with 2x3.5 mm jacks instead of USB.
*The headphones come with a second pair of ear cushions, which are not made of leather.
**UPDATE 9/10/21** The time came when I had to replace the ear cushions and use the "spare" pair... In my opinion, they are of quite poor quality and not as comfortable as the leather ones, as they are harder, leading to poor external noise isolation.
Τα αγόρασα σε προσφορά στα 60 ευρω και μετά απο 1 χρόνο καθημερινής χρήσης (3-7 ώρες) πιστεύω πως έχω μια αρκετά καλή εικόνα.
Αρχικά να πω ότι κατά την γνώμη μου δεν αξίζουν την τιμή που έχουν τώρα (80ευρώ + μεταφορικά).
Αν και είναι πολύ καλό headset πιστεύω πως υπάρχουν αρκετά καλύτερες επιλογές στα 80-100 ευρω.
Μετά από 1 χρόνο χρήσης κυρίως για gaming έχω να πω τα παρακάτω
Θετικά:
-Καθαρός ήχος με δυνατό μπάσο. Η μόνη ρύθμιση που άλλαξα ήταν το να ενεργοποιήσω το bass boost από το sound control panel των windows. Η ποιότητα του ήχου δεν αλλοιώθηκε καθόλου, αντιθέτως τα μπάσα στα τραγούδια ακούγονται πιο δυνατά (πρωφανώς) και ο ήχος στα games έγινε πιο "αληθινός".
-Καλό μικρόφωνο. Η φωνή μου ακούγεται αρκετά καθαρά. Υπάρχουν 2 προβληματάκια που δε μπορώ να λύσω για τα οποία θα μιλήσω παρακάτω.
-Αρκετά άνετα. Σχετικά ελαφριά, μετά από αρκετές ώρες σερί χρήσης νιώθεις μια ενόχληση αλλά πιστεύω είναι λογικό.
Αρνητικά:
-Τα μαξιλαράκια έχουν αρχίσει να χαλάνε και να φευγουν μαύρα κομματάκια. Λογικό κάποια στιγμή να γίνει αυτό αλλά δεν το περίμενα τόσο νωρίς.
-"Ποβλήματα" με μικρόφωνο.
1) Το πρώτο δε μπορώ να πω με σιγουριά αν είναι θέμα του μικροφώνου ή όχι. Συγκεκριμένα χρησιμοποιώ το xbox game bar των windows 10 pro για να αποθηκέυω κλιπάκια από games. Ο ήχος του μικροφώνου σε αυτά τα κλιπάκια λοιπόν ακούγεται λες και μιλάω από handsfree κινιτού. Το πρόβλημα αυτό βέβαια λύθηκε με την χρήση άλλης εφαρμογής για αυτό και λέω ότι δεν ξέρω αν φταίει και το μικρόφωνο εκτός απο το πρόγραμμα των windows.
2) Όταν είμαι σε κλήση (συνήθως στο discord) οι υπόλοιποι συμμετέχοντες ακούν ότι ακούω αν η ένταση είναι πάνω απο το 50-60% και αυτό είναι ενοχλητικό για αυτούς όταν παίζουμε κάποιο game που θέλει να είσαι συγκεντρωμένος. Για αυτό το πρόβλημα από όσο ξέρω φταίει το ότι η σύνδεση των ακουστικών γίνεται με 2x3.5 mm και όχι με USB.
*Τα ακουστικά έρχονται μαζί με δεύτερο ζευγάρι μαξιλαράκια το οποίο δεν είναι δερμάτινο.
**UPDATE 9/10/21** Ήρθε η στιγμή που χρειάστηκε να αλλάξω τα μαξιλαράκια και να χρησιμοποιήσω το "εφεδρικό" ζευγάρι... Αρκετά κακής ποιότητας κατά την γνώμη μου, δεν είναι τόσο άνετα όσο τα δερμάτινα καθώς είναι πιο σκληρά με αυτό να οδηγεί σε κακή απομόνωση των εξωτερικών θορύβων.
