If you want it for hair cutting, look for something else!!!!
Small cutting surface, the blades don't cut and it pulls the hair!!!
I've had it for 4 months and I'm disappointed.
The battery doesn't last for one haircut and you have to wait 3 hours for a full charge, or cut your hair in installments!!!

Very powerful motor! Absolutely satisfied with the use I make of it on my beard (trimming). Variety of combs and cutting range. + nose trimmer. It never clogs. The only negative is the long full charging time.

After a year and something, I can say a couple of things.
It is very good. It has quite a few combs so you can trim your beard to the mm you want, depending of course on which one you get. The one I have has 7 combs. I use the 2, 3, and 5. The battery lasts based on the use I make of it. I use it twice a week and the battery lasts me about a month. If you want something cheap and good, then it is a good choice.

Instead of one good one that costs 80+ with fast charging etc., you get 3 of these. In an 80+ euro one, the battery will go bad in 3 years and you'll need another. With 3 of these, you charge them all, they take less strain (same motor), and you have spare parts left over.

Overall, it is satisfactory for its price. It does not cut as well as the 7000 series. The on-off button is a bit difficult to handle. On the positive side, its spare parts (heads, etc.) are the same as other Philips series. The battery life of this series is the same as the 7000 and lasts about 50 minutes to an hour.

It is the best gift I have given myself! I would say it's professional... it's perfect! It does a very nice trimming on the beard and it doesn't pull the hairs like the previous one I had.

It is very powerful, but I wanted a larger cutting surface. Its high speed and power make the usage area quite messy. Sturdy construction, lightweight in the hand. It was used for facial cleaning and caused slight irritation, something that did not happen with generic machines. It produces more noise than those and the pulsating vibration is noticeable in the hand. The performance is quite good, but personally I would not buy it again. It was not tested on hair.

A disadvantage is that it's quite small, but an advantage is that it's very powerful.

Another thing I didn't like is that you have to change heads, while with the old 5000 you could adjust the height with a knob.

I bought it on 20/10/2018 and until recently it was working perfectly fine, I only used it for trimming my beard and even though I accidentally got it wet sometimes, it didn't have any issues.
I didn't find any negatives in 4 years!
But recently I have misplaced it somewhere, if I can't find it, I'm thinking of getting another one... hopefully this new one will be good as well.. since I was very satisfied with it when I bought it for 33€ back then!!

Good machine overall, just what you need for your first machine... It just requires special care regarding its cleaning

I bought it and it arrived in about a week, it's simply amazing and I recommend it with closed eyes. It's worth its money 100%, I paid around 25 for shipping. I used it for both shaving and trimming due to quarantine and it does both perfectly, it's very powerful and allows you to do your job quickly and easily. Its quality is very sturdy and it doesn't feel cheap, the heads are a bit difficult to change but that's because they attach incredibly well, something I had a problem with in my previous machines. Lastly, in my opinion, its design is beautiful, it's a simple and beautiful machine and for anyone who wants it, it includes everything inside and is of good quality and does its job.

It is worth the money and more. It is easy to clean. It has many attachments. I never forget to charge it!!! It only gets clogged if you don't know how to use it, like most others. I would buy it again with my eyes closed. It is equal, if not much better than others I had bought in the past that belonged to a much more expensive category.

Guys, there are indeed some issues with the button as the first one I had didn't bother me but after a month it broke and they sent me another one from Philips. The second machine had a problem with the button, it's difficult to close. Also, when it's charging, it doesn't work at all, a big flaw, and it takes 16 hours to charge, really extreme.
