This is the first Greek edition of Schoenberg's latest comprehensive theoretical work. It represents the composer’s final thoughts on classical and romantic harmony.

The initial sections summarize the principles established in "Harmony". The final chapters open new avenues by analyzing the system of tonal relationships within the structure of entire pieces and confirm the principle of "monotonicity", showing that all modulations within a piece are merely deviations and not denials of its primary tonality.
