In the 1930s, Yeats-Brown turned towards fascism and wrote laudatory articles in newspapers about Adolf Hitler, Francisco Franco, and Benito Mussolini.
In 1939, he published the book "European Jungle," where he records meetings with leaders of the time and his social observations in countries where the fascist ideal had prevailed. This work constitutes a chapter of this book, which has also been published independently in England. Among other things, the introduction presents excerpts regarding his meeting with Ioannis Metaxas during the Era of August 4th.
Additionally, excerpts from his extensive article titled "The Prosperity of Labor in Fascist Italy" are presented.
"The brilliant victory of Barcelona is another chapter in the history of the new Europe that we are creating. The astonishing troops of Franco and our brave Legionnaires not only defeated the government of Negrin: many more among our enemies are currently being lost. The slogan of the Reds was this: 'They shall not pass!' We passed, and I tell you that we will continue to pass!"
