One of the printed aids that must be included in the educational package of a modern Chemistry textbook is the Solutions Manual for the Exercises contained in the main textbook. This is because the reader who studies systematically and tries step by step to solve the exercises and problems of each chapter, in order to fully understand new concepts and to "build" on a solid foundation, wants confirmation.

The answers provided pertain, in order, to the Exercises that follow each Example in the book, to the Concept Understanding Checks, to the Review Questions, and to all the Problems that are at the end of each Chapter. These are answers to 283 Exercises, 90 Concept Understanding Checks, 492 Review Questions, and 2182 Problems.
