Description

The rise of nationalisms, the flourishing of identity ideologies, the rejection of a European project that has lost its way, justified fears in the face of globalization: the temptation to withdraw into ourselves is consuming our nations and shaking the silent and apathetic Western elites. In the face of reactionary movements, it is time to take the floor, to fight for culture, and to reinvent a humanistic and progressive relationship with the world.

Rafael Glucksmann was born in 1979 in Boulogne-Billancourt. A graduate of the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris, he works as a journalist and documentary filmmaker. He is the editor of Le Nouveau Magazine Littéraire, a magazine of ideological discussions and book critiques, which he places within a "Left outside the walls." He has actively participated as an activist in various missions in Rwanda, Chechnya, Georgia, and Ukraine.
