I had the same Aeropelma Duetto which I bought for €70 and they lasted 5+ years. These are €90, they are bigger (the old 43, even though it wore out, is tighter than the new 43), lighter (maybe that's a good thing, but when I hold them I feel it's probably due to cheaper materials), and while the old ones had a very good insole made of elastic foam material, these came with nothing inside. NOTHING. Just the paper that sits above the rubber of the sole. Even the old EBO boots had a basic insole made of plastic mesh. I don't know if it was just my pair or if they're all like this. The seller didn't know how to answer me.
After the first use, I understand that it may look like the old one but it's not the same, it's inferior. What a pity.

  • For the money, it's great. Comfortable, very light, and quite durable. I've been wearing it for 8 months in a maintenance unit, it has been exposed to oils, diesel... it's a summer boot. Not suitable for winter.

Amazing boot, soft and lightweight, quality sole that doesn't slip and doesn't wear out easily. Worth its money. Note that the boot is for summer, not for cold weather.

In the two weeks of use, while I am walking, I noticed that the foamy material on the top of the back part of the left boot came off where it hugs the calf...very comfortable, but in terms of materials, it seems like it won't hold up...a shame because I was disappointed in a shoe from a Greek industry that I trusted...excellent insoles, yes, but...

I don't know if they are waterproof, because I haven't had the chance to try them in a lot of water. However, they are super lightweight, like a sports shoe, with an exceptionally flexible sole and very comfortable. You definitely need an extra insole because, although I got them in my size, they are spacious. Durability will show.

25/10/2024 They are still available! The reason is of course their limited use. Only every Sunday. They are not waterproof in any case. Only for good weather conditions. The longest continuous route was about 40 kilometers over a period of 38 hours on terrain with quite a few stones. They handled it just fine.

In a lot of water that I walked in, I found that they are not waterproof above the ankle height, that is, in their inner fastening with the laces (the inner fabric closure where the boot closes in front).
Up to 3 fingers from the ground height they are completely waterproof.
    Overall, sturdy and comfortable.

Excellent boot, very lightweight, comfortable feel and despite being a winter boot, it breathes well. I have had it for over a year and I am completely satisfied. I highly recommend it.
They lasted their money, I had them in tough conditions for 2 years. They started to let water in from the sole.

I loved them, even before wearing them, just by their weight. Maybe it is the lightest boot you have ever worn and they are really very comfortable, from the first moment. Pay attention to the sizes: If you are between 2 sizes (e.g. 44/45) take the closest one that you think you wear because the sizes are exactly what they state and I needed insoles! The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have had them for a short time (a little over a month??) and I don't know their durability!
