It is not as refined as Victorinox, for example, which have a rounded back of the blade and a more polished finish on the plastic. Use the knife on a wooden or plastic cutting board. Do not expose the blade to heat or direct flame, and do not use the knife on frozen foods or to open containers. After cutting acidic foods such as lemons, oranges and tomatoes, wash the blade immediately. Hand washing is recommended; if washed in a dishwasher, dry it immediately with a soft cloth.
