Its hydration was very good, however, even though I have thick hair, it weighed my hair down a bit and I prefer the CHI Keratin line more. I can say though that although I wouldn't choose it for frequent washing in my daily routine, I will buy it again along with its conditioner for the summer when my hair needs extra hydration due to the sun and sea.
