  • Amazing rod. It has saved my bacon in very difficult conditions. I’ve paired it with an Oceanic Atom 10000 and I’m 100% satisfied. I’ve been using it for a year now with 100–120 g weights and reasonably proper casts. An amazing rod, and it really does have a stiffer tip. Plenty of strength during the fight. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT FOR BEGINNERS. It’s better to start with something simpler for practice. Every rod has its limits and rules.

  • It is a very good rod, but not a masterpiece (for my standards) like the platinum from the same company. Perhaps the 4 stars do it a disservice since the multiple failures I have had with this rod are due to my limited experience. On the positive side, it can be used for casting in bottoms with many snags, as due to its stiffness it pulls the weight relatively quickly from the bottom of the sea. Also, compared to other telescopic rods, it won't "give in" in difficult weather conditions with a few more knots because 1) it comfortably handles a 120-gram weight and 2) its tip doesn't move much in rough wave conditions. Another positive is the quality of construction, very sturdy, with Fuji guides! On the negative side, it does not forgive mistakes for inexperienced anglers (like me) when bringing fish in, something in which the platinum excels. Overall, it is a very good rod, and surely people with experience in the field will appreciate it.

It is worth giving about 20 euros more than the telescopes of 50-60 euros. The differences for the better are evident.
Bonus tip: Those who prefer slightly harder fishing rods will love it
