    The drive contained in the enclosure is a Seagate BarraCuda 2TB 2.5" laptop hard drive with a spin speed of 5400 RPM and is widely used in external hard drives because it is quiet, has low power consumption, dissipates heat relatively quickly, and has good shock resistance. My experience with it was that after some time of use and after it fell while operating, and although it seemed that damage had occurred to the Micro-B USB 3.0, I managed to fix it. There was no need to change the USB-SATA board, just a cleaning of the port and running the disk through the Testdisk program to find the bad sectors. I had also taken it to a technician when it was broken, who couldn’t fix it. In the end, it now constitutes a prominent member of the home NAS I have built with a Raspberry Pi 4 B, and I have backups, as well as using it for other things like media server, VPN, firewall, pihole. The drive is reliable and proved it since it took a beating as well. At a price of €80, it is a good choice for a backup drive and generally more reliable than having an SSD for backups (generally, the reliability of backups depends on how many copies you have on different drives, but a Flash memory like an SSD is more likely to fail after many years of use than the magnetic form of information that a hard drive holds). As I wrote above, the drive is also used in a media service running on the LAN, so its speed is good, but obviously I wouldn’t buy it to make backups of large files continuously (e.g., if you are a videographer), nor would I run programs from this drive. Its purpose is for safe backup that will last over time, in my opinion.
