This book contains texts that were not written for publication. They are a record of spoken language, comments on political (mainly) current events that were broadcast by a radio station over the course of a year.

Kept intact in their oral "logic," these texts preserve the intensity of anguish and the dissonance of the cry for the decline and degradation of Greek identity in modern Greece.

Not with wounded nationalistic sensitivity or boastfulness, but with the realism of pain for a proposal of culture, a proposal for life that is universally precious, which we, the unsuspecting heirs, today desecrate.
