[...] The exclusive aim of its writing was to assist as much as possible and more effectively both students in their familiarization with the English language and teachers, in order to find a supportive material for better teaching of their subject in the classroom. For this reason, it was deemed appropriate to present examples with their translation in Modern Greek, as well as the pronunciation of words according to the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) for their correct learning. At the same time, comments on the use of certain words are provided within the entries for a better understanding.
But even the most demanding reader can find a wealth of information on acquiring a comprehensive picture of the organization and administration of the United Kingdom and the United States, the history of the English language, as well as specialized vocabularies with practical mainly value.
