Icel knives are made in Portugal. The blade is made of stainless steel and the handle from Bakelite, a material very resistant to daily use. Ergonomically designed to offer comfort in grip and stability. Suitable for home and professional use. Cutting should always be done on a wooden or plastic cutting surface. Do not expose the blade to heat or direct flame. Do not use the knives on frozen foods or for opening containers. 

When cutting acidic foods such as lemons, oranges, tomatoes, etc., it is good to wash the blade immediately because it is made of stainless steel which contains a small percentage of carbon (for proper sharpening and greater durability over time), therefore the blade can stain if not cleaned.
