  • Starting Power

Starting Current (A) indicates the maximum current intensity that the starter can provide to start the engine. The higher it is, the more powerful engines it can start, especially in cold conditions.

  • Maximum Charging Current

Measured in Amperes (A), it determines how quickly the device can "fill" your battery. The higher the number, the faster the charging. For small batteries (e.g. motorcycle) or simple maintenance, a few Amperes are enough, while for faster charging in cars you will need a higher current.

I have had it for about 8 months and I have charged several large batteries, 230 each, without any problem. I also charged a few small car batteries. I forgot to mention that I was charging 2 batteries, 230 each, together (24 volts). The charger's construction is quite good, made with quality materials. It is worth buying

What does it mean that the Velox Max 730 is a jump starter and battery charger?

Jump Starter: Used to start a vehicle when its battery is depleted or weak. If the car's battery, for example, does not have enough power to start the engine, the jump starter provides the necessary energy to start it.

Battery Charger: Used to charge the car's battery to keep it in good condition and provide the necessary power for the car's electrical systems and engine to operate. This is important, especially if the car is not used for long periods of time.

Safety Tip

Before attempting to start a car, check that:

  • The battery has no leakage or damage, if it does seek help from a specialized technician.
  • Ensure that the jump starter is compatible with the type and power of the battery.
  • Clothes and metal objects, such as jewelry, are kept away from the battery.
  • There are no fire sources nearby, such as a cigarette.
Once you check these, you are ready to start!
