Each watch in the Fenix 5S Plus series receives signals from multiple satellite networks (GPS, GLONASS, and Galileo) for unrivaled accuracy even in the most demanding environments. In addition to map navigation, each watch features ABC sensors (altimeter, barometer, and compass) for outdoor navigation. The built-in altimeter provides elevation data for accurate tracking of ascent and descent in activities such as hiking, while the three-axis electronic compass keeps your bearing steady, whether you are in motion or not.
Advanced Performance Metrics
The Fenix features advanced training functions to monitor your technique and performance. View detailed physiology metrics, running dynamics, and other functions to track your exercise stats, measure your progress, and improve your technique. You can also see the overall training load, which measures the volume of exercise for the last 7 days and compares it with the ideal range based on your physical condition and recent training history. Special pre-installed activity profiles are available for swimming, running, cycling, hiking, skiing, rowing, paddle sports, and more.
Heart Rate from the Wrist
The Elevate wrist heart rate technology allows you to monitor your heart rate without the use of a chest strap. In addition to step counting and sleep tracking, the watch uses heart rate data to provide calorie information and quantify the intensity of fitness activities. It also measures heart rate variability to calculate stress levels, helping you assess the level of activity your body is ready for.
Pay with a flick of your wrist
Following the rhythm of your active lifestyle, the Fenix 5S Plus devices support the Garmin Pay contactless payment feature*. Use your watch for payments where you would use your credit card, avoiding queues at the checkout and leaving cards and cash at home.

Music everywhere with you
Now you can have up to 500 songs stored directly on your watch, so you can listen to them anywhere without using a phone. It's easy to transfer music from your computer and then arrange your favorite playlist to listen to easily through compatible Bluetooth headphones (sold separately). You can even sync your playlists from selected music streaming services to your watch to listen to them without ads. Now you no longer need to have your phone with you when you exercise, because the music that sets your pace is on your wrist.
