The actual length of the chest's body is 58 centimeters! Similarly, its width is 38 centimeters—the 40.4 obviously includes the rim that sticks out so the handles can close. The height is indeed 34.4 cm. So its dimensions are quite a bit smaller than those mentioned. And note: these are the NOMINAL DIMENSIONS and essentially the SPACE OCCUPIED by the chest, not its capacity. Its useful internal length is 53 centimeters, the corresponding useful width is 34, and the useful height is 28 centimeters! We're talking about very large differences.
