    Just received it and after testing it, I noticed that as a tool it makes a sound as if it hits everywhere as some say, but as soon as you approach it to the cable you are looking for, it takes your ears, meaning you understand that the cable is there for you.

    I found cables inside the wall and you can easily find the route of the cable and when you have many together, you lower the volume so that it hits when you approach the cable you are looking for and not from a meter away.

    3/1/2021 I add that from the moment I tried it with the headphones, the speaker never worked again, I don't know why.

    5/1/2021 I repaired it, a little blade had moved when I put the headphones on and it didn't make good contact when I took them off, resulting in it only working with headphones.
    Anyone who faces a similar problem or simply stops hearing, please send me a message to communicate.

    The previous device I had broke down and I had to quickly buy a new one without much research.
    This particular device is not suitable for detection.
    It doesn't even detect cables with minimal insulation on the other end.
    I don't know if it's due to the intensity of the generated signal or the detection device itself.
    It couldn't detect a stripped utp cat5 cable three floors below.
    I wouldn't recommend it for this job.
    I haven't tested it yet as a tester.

    I have used it as a detector. It does its job well to a certain extent. If there is accidental contact between the pair of wires without actually detecting them, the generator stops making sound, even if the circuit is open, and the verified light flashes, which probably confirms that you have connected the correct wires, but if this happens accidentally, you lose balance. If you are on a lower floor, you will have to go up and down to turn the generator on and off. I haven't tried it as a tester. I wouldn't prefer it for detection
