When they first started with the PS4 game, I was completely disappointed. I didn't like the controls, the graphics were good but the story didn't make any sense, etc. Influenced by the very bad reviews, I thought I shouldn't bother with it because it wouldn't give me enjoyable moments.

A lot of time passed and I decided to give it another chance with the PS5 - I was excited about its soundtrack (Shara Schachner - Legion of Dawn) and I thought let's see it again. I started it without many expectations, not expecting much. The strange thing is that it won me over from the beginning. I gave it a little patience and it ultimately rewarded me pleasantly. However, it is definitely not a masterpiece like Mass Effect, but for now, it is enjoyable to play.

The most enjoyable thing of all is flying in the beautiful world with one of the heroes and exploring the paradise of Bastion from above. The battles are at a good level and fill you with adrenaline from the beginning - I should note that I almost always play the missions alone/private so that I don't need other players to complete them since no one is playing it anymore in 2022. As known, the game was burned by the initial bugs and the excessive hype it had received. So far, on the ps5, I encountered 1-2 bugs myself but they didn't change my overall opinion of the game. However, be prepared for a possible crash. It happened to me once and it took me back to the main menu. Take care.

I was expecting a game of 3 and finally found a game of 7-8, so it was a pleasant surprise. The dialogues and the overall atmosphere could definitely be better. It feels a bit lukewarm and without substance. You don't get particularly passionate about the dialogues and the feeling it gives. It's a shame because it could easily be improved thanks to the gameplay and the music. I find the graphics fine, although it may be due to the PS5 and its processing power.

For now, I'm enjoying it while I've been playing it for 4-5 days. Considering the price, it's definitely value for money, and I think it's also available for free on PSN for premium subscriptions.

Personally, it won me over with its gameplay, its sound, and somewhat its graphics. They are definitely not next-gen, but they do their job.

Give it a chance in 2022. I think after such a massacre from reviewers and the public, everyone expects a useless game - but it's not like that at all. If you're a person who enjoys sci-fi and third-person gaming, I think you can enjoy it and experience intense gaming moments

Let me start by saying that I bought the game for 9€... on its own, I think it's enough. The game is essentially mass effect Andromeda 2, I would say. However, it remains an "empty" open world game like metal gear solid and mass effect Andromeda. The sound has some interruptions when there are multiple explosions together, and sometimes you lose track of the ball due to the explosions of teammates. The handling and feel are very good. The design of the opponents is a bit poor, and you don't feel the power of your weapon except for how the enemy's health bar decreases. For example, with the shotgun, the health bar simply decreases in chunks, while with the machine gun, it decreases little by little without really having a different feel. The graphics are beautiful, but sometimes it takes a while to load them. The game requires a ps plus membership, otherwise, it won't let you in. Missions are done with random players or friends from the guild or friend list. For 9€ and with a ps plus membership, I highly recommend it. The game could have been a masterpiece, but it lost something along the way.

Anthem was released in the early months of 2019 and is undoubtedly one of the most controversial titles of recent years, representing an effort by Bioware and EA to make their mark on the looter-shooter genre. But is it worth the time and money of the audience? In short, this depends on the patience and determination of the player to overlook several technical issues and fundamental mistakes.

Story: Anthem takes place in the distant future where humans and the surrounding natural environment depend on a device that affects the planet's formation. However, everything changes when a mysterious person starts a sudden war with the ultimate goal of controlling this device. Therefore, the player, choosing from existing characters, will try to end these hostilities with the help of their mechanical suit and allies. Overall, the game's plot offers some nice moments and twists that remind us of Bioware's storytelling talent, but it does not impress in general.

Gameplay: Let's start with the positives. Initially, the gameplay is well-crafted, and the ability for the player to choose between four titan-mechanical suits offers many hours of entertainment. These suits are fully customizable with different abilities and playstyles, and the better loot they have, the stronger they become. However, here come the negatives. Firstly, the loot is meager at best, as many weapons are visually identical without any distinct features. Secondly, despite player outcry, Bioware offers very few high-quality weapons (legendary), resulting in someone dedicating many hours without being rewarded for their effort. This problem persists despite continuous updates. Finally, for a looter game, Anthem lacks substantial content beyond the campaign missions, leading to a vicious cycle of repetitive missions.

Graphics & Sound: When Anthem is not plagued by the constant bugs, glitches, and crashes, it is visually stunning with vibrant colors, and combined with the fitting musical background, it immerses you in its world.

Conclusion: Anthem has serious problems at its core and clearly shows that its creators do not know how to respond to and shape a looter game. However, at a low price, Anthem is worth purchasing because if someone overcomes all the issues, it can provide many hours of enjoyment. But most importantly, Bioware, for now, seems to listen to consumers and with updates, gives a new form to its latest creation.

The whole circus of the western AAA gaming is exposed in this game. A rushed product full of bugs, following today's mainstream trends and contaminated with microtransactions (of course). I won't go into many details, I'll just inform you about what Anthem is, so you know (especially you looter shooter fans) what you're dealing with before buying it...

- Online ONLY (Yes, it requires PS Plus). Regardless of the option to be alone in the open world or in your base, the game requires you to be permanently connected online.
- There are no endgame armor sets (except for the Pre-Order one) or exotic weapons with unique designs or special abilities. Almost everything has the same design, and the only thing that changes is the color of their rarity, as well as the damage numbers (which ultimately doesn't matter much, since your damage comes from your 2 abilities and not the weapons).
- Lightweight endgame, without raids. The only thing you have to do once you reach max level is 3 instances, 2 of which are parts of the campaign you've already completed.
- There is no PvP.

In short, the strong points of a looter shooter, they decided to write them in their old shoes over there at Bioware... And what's left? A process in which you do the same 3 instances and as a reward, you get things that don't change anything about your character, except for the damage numbers. As for the nostalgics of the old good Bioware, I warn you not to expect anything special from the story. The Bioware you knew is dead and the people who made the company what it is today have left a long time ago.
