The Smart-UPS C 1500VA LCD 230V with SmartConnect Line-Interactive 900W with 8 IEC Outlets from APC is a Tower UPS. It features 8 IEC type outlets (similar to those of computer power supplies) as well as an input and output for an ethernet cable, protecting the devices connected to it, e.g., router (provided their power supply is also connected to the UPS or a surge protector). Its operation is (VI) Line-Interactive, which continuously adjusts the output voltage through an automatic voltage regulator, protecting against voltage fluctuations and power outages. It offers pure sine wave power, which is suitable for sensitive devices (e.g., medical equipment) and is preferred for devices with power supplies that have active PFC protection (e.g., computers).
