TLDR: it needs daisy chaining as a feature
Incredible quality, very sturdy as it should be for its price. Very quiet especially for its performance. I use 7 of these in total and 3 nf12 and I end up barely getting 55c on the processor and caps at 66c on the gpu while it runs under 90%, which is unbelievable. The only complaint I would have is that the cables could be a little better. I have poor cable management (obviously it's my fault too) but sometimes the grounding pin can come out, for example, and it won't work, and I have to carefully reinsert it for it to work. I didn't like the y splitters so I used hubs instead. If they had the daisy chain feature that Lian Li or the new Corsair ones (like RX120) have, it would be a game changer and would be flawless. 9/10

If the price and color do not bother you, get it with your eyes closed. The chromax (black) is more beautiful but even more expensive, while offering exactly the same performance and fewer accessories. So, the classic one is a thousand times better.... We are talking about a fan, not a piece of jewelry.

Honestly, I don't know what else to say about this fan that hasn't already been said by everyone else. Starting from the packaging that opens like a booklet with scratches on both sides, the number of accessories and the fan itself, as soon as you hold it in your hands, you realize that you got what you paid for (and it's not cheap): an absolutely premium product. Many will say that the price is high and there are definitely cheaper options, but its performance, low noise levels, and its technology (SSO2 bearing) justify it completely for me.
I have 4 other Noctua fans in my PC, three NF-S12B redux-1200 as intake and one NF-S12A 120mm Chromax.black.swap as top exhaust, and you honestly can't hear anything!
Nevertheless, if and when I have the financial means, I will gradually replace them with the A12x25!
P.S. The installation with the anti-vibration pads? Piece of cake! I thought it would give me a hard time, but it was done in a minute. I have already ordered them for the others.

Ξεκινώντας από τη συσκευασία που ανοίγει σαν booklet με σκράτς μπρος πίσω,το πλήθος των παρελκομένων αλλά και τον ίδιο τον ανεμιστήρα, με το που τον κρατήσεις στα χέρια σου αντιλαμβάνεσαι ότι πήρες αυτό που πλήρωσες (και δεν είναι λίγα) : ένα απόλυτα premium προϊόν.
Πολλοί θα πουν ότι η τιμή είναι υψηλή και σίγουρα υπάρχουν και οικονομικότερες λύσεις, όμως η απόδοσή του,τα χαμηλά επίπεδα θορύβου και η τεχνολογία του ( SSO2 bearing ) για μένα τη δικαιολογούν απόλυτα.
Στο pc έχω άλλους 4 Noctua fans, τρείς NF-S12B redux-1200 ως intake και έναν NF-S12A 120mm Chromax.black.swap ως πάνω exhaust και δεν ακούγεται ειλικρινά τίποτα!
Παρόλα αυτά,αν και όταν έχω την οικονομική δυνατότητα, θα τους αντικαταστήσω σταδιακά με τον A12x25!

I installed 3 in custom water cooling. Previously, I had Corsair ML120 white led. They are quieter, you have to put your ear close to hear them. I run them at 1200. They are amazing and I think the temperature dropped a couple of degrees

It's an awesome fan, quiet, and it lowered the processor temperature by 6 degrees with less operating noise. The only downside is its color. If you're looking for a similar performance, check out the 12x15 model that comes in black. If the price is prohibitive (which is understandable), then consider the Arctic P12 PWM PST fans for a better performance-to-price ratio!

It was placed in a small case (Kolink Sanctuary) as an exhaust fan, replacing a regular Thermaltake fan. Initially, one can perceive the top-notch construction quality from the case. Such a well-balanced bearing is not found even in industrial applications. As for performance, my previous 5700 XT would shut down at 85 degrees Celsius under full load. With this fan at 2000 RPM, the same room temperature and again under full load in the same case, the GPU temperature remains steady at 77 to 78 degrees, so 7 to 8 degrees lower with just one fan. 1 FAN! I don't consider it noisy even at these speeds, but I'm more interested in efficiency rather than noise since I play with headphones. It may be expensive, but I believe it might be the best choice for 120mm air cooling in a computer case. Finally, the packaging includes not only cables and adapters but also a special rubber gasket for better application in the case and minimizing air loss. I have no words, just for me personally, invest. Yesterday.
Τοποθετηθηκε σε μικρο κουτι (kolink sanctuary) ως ανεμιστηρας εξαγωγης, αντικαθιστωντας εναν κοινο ανεμιστηρα της thermaltake. Αρχικα απο το κουτι αντιλαμβανεται κανεις την ποιοτητα κατασκευης η οποια ειναι κορυφαια. Τετοιο ζυγοσταθμισμενο ρουλεμαν δεν συνανταται ουτε σε βιομηχανικες εφαρμογες. Οσο αφορα στην αποδοση, η 5700 xt που ειχα εκανε shutdown στους 85 βαθμους κελσιου σε full load. Με αυτο τον ανεμιστηρα σε 2000 rpm, ιδια θερμοκρασια δωματιου και παλι σε full load στο ιδιο κουτι, η θερμοκρασια της gpu ειναι σταθερη στους 77 με 78, αρα 7 με 8 βαθμοι κατω με μονο 1 ανεμιστηρα. 1 ΑΝΕΜΙΣΤΗΡΑ! Δεν θεωρω οτι ειναι θορυβωδης ακομα και σε αυτες τις στροφες αλλα περισσοτερο με ενδιαφερει η αποτεσματικοτητα και οχι ο θορυβος μιας και παιζω με ακουστικα. Μπορει να ειναι ακριβος αλλα πιστευω οτι ισως ειναι η καλυτερη επιλογη σε 120 mm για αεροψυξη σε κουτι υπολογιστη. Τελος στη συσκευασια περιλαμβανεται εκτος απο καλωδια και ανταπτορες μεχρι και ειδικη λαστιχενια φλατζα για καλυτερη εφαρμογη στο κουτι και ελαχιστοποιηση απωλειων αερα. Δεν εχω λογια, απλα για μενα προσωπικα, επενδυστε. Χθες.
I replaced the Noctua NF-F12 PWM Fan that I had on the Noctua NH-U12S cooler, mainly because of the innovations of the NF-A12x25.
The difference in performance and noise is noticeable. Now, when the fan speeds up, it is almost silent, while maintaining low temperatures.

I replaced the fans of the Corsair Hydro H100 v2 with two Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM 120mm. The difference is night and day. Completely silent and highly effective (significant decrease in processor temperature).

Positive impressions start with the exceptional packaging and accessories.
Included are a Fan Y Splitter, Fan Extension Cable, Ultra Low Noise Filter, Rubber perimeter cover for use with radiators, four rubber "screws," and four metal screws.
They continue as soon as you hold the fan in your hands. Heavy, sturdy construction with rubber on all four edges to reduce vibrations in the characteristic beige-brown color combination of Noctua.
I invested in cooling for my new system with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and chose three NF-A12x25 PWM fans for case fans. I also bought the Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 for CPU cooling.
The case in question is the NZXT H200 mITX, in which I installed two front intake fans and one rear exhaust fan.
I have set custom fan curves in my motherboard's BIOS.
(0-30°C: 30%, 30-40°C: 40%, 40-50°C: 50%, 50-60°C: 60%, >60°C: 70%)
I have not overclocked the CPU (yet...) and the Power Profile in Windows is Ryzen Balanced. The Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 works fanless without fans, simply because they are not needed, as you will see below.
At idle and light workload, the noise level is so low that I think the computer is not running. Even late at night when it is quiet and the ambient noise is low, they are not audible. Typical CPU temperatures are 41-44°C (ambient around 21-22°C).
Under high load, the processor reaches around 59°C-60°C (with the same ambient as above). Now the fans can be heard, but very discreetly, so as not to be bothersome.
In gaming, as soon as the graphics card fans kick in, their noise covers everything and is borderline tolerable. As soon as I set custom fan curves in MSI Afterburner for the graphics card, it will be better.
I am completely satisfied with the performance, quality, and low noise level of these fans. The cost is high, but for me, it is worth it and they are an investment as they are all-around fans, whether used in a system with water cooling on a radiator or in an air-cooled system. Σε idle και light workload το επίπεδο θορύβου είναι τόσο χαμηλό που νομίζω ότι ο υπολογιστής δεν δουλεύει. Ακόμα και αργά το βράδυ που έχει ησυχία και ο περιβαλλοντικός θόρυβος είναι χαμηλός, δεν ακούγονται. Τυπικές θερμοκρασίες CPU 41-44°C (ambient γύρω στους 21-22°C).
Σε υψηλό load ο επεξεργαστής φτάνει γύρω στους 59°C-60°C (με ίδιο ambient με παραπάνω). Τώρα οι ανεμιστήρες ακούγονται μεν αλλά πολύ διακριτικά, ώστε να μην ενοχλούν.
Σε gaming μόλις πάρουν μπρος οι ανεμιστήρες της κάρτας γραφικών, ο θόρυβος αυτών καλύπτει τα πάντα και είναι οριακά ανεκτός. Μόλις φτιάξω custom fan curves στο MSI Afterburner και για την κάρτα γραφικών θα είναι καλύτερα.
Είμαι απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος από την απόδοση, την ποιότητα και το χαμηλό επίπεδο θορύβου των συγκεκριμένων ανεμιστήρων. Το κόστος είναι υψηλό, αλλά για εμένα αξίζει και αποτελούν επένδυση καθώς είναι all around fans είτε χρησιμοποιηθούν σε σύστημα με υδρόψυξη σε radiator είτε σε σύστημα με αερόψυξη. Ειλικρινά δεν ξέρω τι άλλο να πω γι αυτόν τον ανεμιστήρα,που δεν το έχουν πει όλοι οι υπόλοιποι.
Ξεκινώντας από τη συσκευασία που ανοίγει σαν booklet με σκράτς μπρος πίσω,το πλήθος των παρελκομένων αλλά και τον ίδιο τον ανεμιστήρα, με το που τον κρατήσεις στα χέρια σου αντιλαμβάνεσαι ότι πήρες αυτό που πλήρωσες (και δεν είναι λίγα) : ένα απόλυτα premium προϊόν.
Πολλοί θα πουν ότι η τιμή είναι υψηλή και σίγουρα υπάρχουν και οικονομικότερες λύσεις, όμως η απόδοσή του,τα χαμηλά επίπεδα θορύβου και η τεχνολογία του ( SSO2 bearing ) για μένα τη δικαιολογούν απόλυτα.
Στο pc έχω άλλους 4 Noctua fans, τρείς NF-S12B redux-1200 ως intake και έναν NF-S12A 120mm Chromax.black.swap ως πάνω exhaust και δεν ακούγεται ειλικρινά τίποτα!
Παρόλα αυτά,αν και όταν έχω την οικονομική δυνατότητα, θα τους αντικαταστήσω σταδιακά με τον A12x25!
Υ.Γ. Η εγκατάσταση με τα anti vibration pads? Παιχνιδάκι! Νόμιζα ότι θα με παιδέψουν όμως έγινε σε ένα λεπτό.Έχω ήδη παραγγείλει και για τους υπόλοιπους.

I got it to replace the noisy cooling fan. The fan is completely silent and also managed to lower the temperature by 5 degrees more than the previous one.

I installed 3 in custom water cooling. Previously, I had Corsair ML120 white led. They are quieter, you have to put your ear close to hear them. I run them at 1200. They are amazing and I think the temperature dropped a couple of degrees

It's an awesome fan, quiet, and it lowered the processor temperature by 6 degrees with less operating noise. The only downside is its color. If you're looking for a similar performance, check out the 12x15 model that comes in black. If the price is prohibitive (which is understandable), then consider the Arctic P12 PWM PST fans for a better performance-to-price ratio!

It was placed in a small case (Kolink Sanctuary) as an exhaust fan, replacing a regular Thermaltake fan. Initially, one can perceive the top-notch construction quality from the case. Such a well-balanced bearing is not found even in industrial applications. As for performance, my previous 5700 XT would shut down at 85 degrees Celsius under full load. With this fan at 2000 RPM, the same room temperature and again under full load in the same case, the GPU temperature remains steady at 77 to 78 degrees, so 7 to 8 degrees lower with just one fan. 1 FAN! I don't consider it noisy even at these speeds, but I'm more interested in efficiency rather than noise since I play with headphones. It may be expensive, but I believe it might be the best choice for 120mm air cooling in a computer case. Finally, the packaging includes not only cables and adapters but also a special rubber gasket for better application in the case and minimizing air loss. I have no words, just for me personally, invest. Yesterday.
Τοποθετηθηκε σε μικρο κουτι (kolink sanctuary) ως ανεμιστηρας εξαγωγης, αντικαθιστωντας εναν κοινο ανεμιστηρα της thermaltake. Αρχικα απο το κουτι αντιλαμβανεται κανεις την ποιοτητα κατασκευης η οποια ειναι κορυφαια. Τετοιο ζυγοσταθμισμενο ρουλεμαν δεν συνανταται ουτε σε βιομηχανικες εφαρμογες. Οσο αφορα στην αποδοση, η 5700 xt που ειχα εκανε shutdown στους 85 βαθμους κελσιου σε full load. Με αυτο τον ανεμιστηρα σε 2000 rpm, ιδια θερμοκρασια δωματιου και παλι σε full load στο ιδιο κουτι, η θερμοκρασια της gpu ειναι σταθερη στους 77 με 78, αρα 7 με 8 βαθμοι κατω με μονο 1 ανεμιστηρα. 1 ΑΝΕΜΙΣΤΗΡΑ! Δεν θεωρω οτι ειναι θορυβωδης ακομα και σε αυτες τις στροφες αλλα περισσοτερο με ενδιαφερει η αποτεσματικοτητα και οχι ο θορυβος μιας και παιζω με ακουστικα. Μπορει να ειναι ακριβος αλλα πιστευω οτι ισως ειναι η καλυτερη επιλογη σε 120 mm για αεροψυξη σε κουτι υπολογιστη. Τελος στη συσκευασια περιλαμβανεται εκτος απο καλωδια και ανταπτορες μεχρι και ειδικη λαστιχενια φλατζα για καλυτερη εφαρμογη στο κουτι και ελαχιστοποιηση απωλειων αερα. Δεν εχω λογια, απλα για μενα προσωπικα, επενδυστε. Χθες.
I replaced the Noctua NF-F12 PWM Fan that I had on the Noctua NH-U12S cooler, mainly because of the innovations of the NF-A12x25.
The difference in performance and noise is noticeable. Now, when the fan speeds up, it is almost silent, while maintaining low temperatures.

Η διαφορα στην αποδοση και θορυβο ειναι αισθητη. Πλεον οταν ανεβαζει στροφες ο ανεμιστηρας , δεν ακουγεται σχεδον καθολου, διατηροντας τις χαμηλες θερμοκρασιες παραλληλα.

I replaced the fans of the Corsair Hydro H100 v2 with two Noctua NF-A12x25 PWM 120mm. The difference is night and day. Completely silent and highly effective (significant decrease in processor temperature).

I invested in cooling for my new system with an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 and chose three NF-A12x25 PWM fans for case fans. I also bought the Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 for CPU cooling.
The case in question is the NZXT H200 mITX, in which I installed two front intake fans and one rear exhaust fan.
I have set custom fan curves in my motherboard's BIOS.
(0-30°C: 30%, 30-40°C: 40%, 40-50°C: 50%, 50-60°C: 60%, >60°C: 70%)
I have not overclocked the CPU (yet...) and the Power Profile in Windows is Ryzen Balanced. The Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 works fanless without fans, simply because they are not needed, as you will see below.
At idle and light workload, the noise level is so low that I think the computer is not running. Even late at night when it is quiet and the ambient noise is low, they are not audible. Typical CPU temperatures are 41-44°C (ambient around 21-22°C).
Under high load, the processor reaches around 59°C-60°C (with the same ambient as above). Now the fans can be heard, but very discreetly, so as not to be bothersome.
In gaming, as soon as the graphics card fans kick in, their noise covers everything and is borderline tolerable. As soon as I set custom fan curves in MSI Afterburner for the graphics card, it will be better.
I am completely satisfied with the performance, quality, and low noise level of these fans. The cost is high, but for me, it is worth it and they are an investment as they are all-around fans, whether used in a system with water cooling on a radiator or in an air-cooled system. Δεν έχω κάνει overclock στον επεξεργαστή (ακόμα...) και το Power Profile στα Windows είναι το Ryzen Balanced. Η Noctua NH-D15 SE-AM4 δουλεύει fanless χωρίς ανεμιστήρες, πολύ απλά διότι δεν χρειάζονται όπως θα δείτε παρακάτω.
Σε idle και light workload το επίπεδο θορύβου είναι τόσο χαμηλό που νομίζω ότι ο υπολογιστής δεν δουλεύει. Ακόμα και αργά το βράδυ που έχει ησυχία και ο περιβαλλοντικός θόρυβος είναι χαμηλός, δεν ακούγονται. Τυπικές θερμοκρασίες CPU 41-44°C (ambient γύρω στους 21-22°C).
Σε υψηλό load ο επεξεργαστής φτάνει γύρω στους 59°C-60°C (με ίδιο ambient με παραπάνω). Τώρα οι ανεμιστήρες ακούγονται μεν αλλά πολύ διακριτικά, ώστε να μην ενοχλούν.
Σε gaming μόλις πάρουν μπρος οι ανεμιστήρες της κάρτας γραφικών, ο θόρυβος αυτών καλύπτει τα πάντα και είναι οριακά ανεκτός. Μόλις φτιάξω custom fan curves στο MSI Afterburner και για την κάρτα γραφικών θα είναι καλύτερα.
Είμαι απόλυτα ικανοποιημένος από την απόδοση, την ποιότητα και το χαμηλό επίπεδο θορύβου των συγκεκριμένων ανεμιστήρων. Το κόστος είναι υψηλό, αλλά για εμένα αξίζει και αποτελούν επένδυση καθώς είναι all around fans είτε χρησιμοποιηθούν σε σύστημα με υδρόψυξη σε radiator είτε σε σύστημα με αερόψυξη. Incredible quality, very sturdy as it should be for its price. Very quiet especially for its performance. I use 7 of these in total and 3 nf12 and I end up barely getting 55c on the processor and caps at 66c on the gpu while it runs under 90%, which is unbelievable. The only complaint I would have is that the cables could be a little better. I have poor cable management (obviously it's my fault too) but sometimes the grounding pin can come out, for example, and it won't work, and I have to carefully reinsert it for it to work. I didn't like the y splitters so I used hubs instead. If they had the daisy chain feature that Lian Li or the new Corsair ones (like RX120) have, it would be a game changer and would be flawless. 9/10

top quality, efficient, and quiet fan with minimal power consumption and a wide operating range.... but very expensive at around 30€.... At 20€, it would be a 5-star product. If the price and color do not bother you, get it with your eyes closed. The chromax (black) is more beautiful but even more expensive, while offering exactly the same performance and fewer accessories. So, the classic one is a thousand times better.... We are talking about a fan, not a piece of jewelry.

Αν δε σας ενοχλει η τιμή και το χρώμα του παρτε τον με κλειστά μάτια. o chromax (μαυρος) είναι πιο όμορφος αλλά ακόμα πιο ακριβός ενω προσφέρει ακριβώς την ίδια απόδοση και εχει λιγότερα αξεσουάρ, Οπότε 1000 φορές ο κλασσικός.... Για ανεμιστήρα μιλάμε και όχι κόσμημα.
