The APC Smart-UPS SMC1500I-2UC provides reliable power protection for entry-level servers, point-of-sale (POS) systems and telecommunications switches. With a compact 2U rack-mount design, it delivers 900 W of power and a pure sine wave output to ensure the uninterrupted operation of sensitive equipment. Its line-interactive topology automatically regulates mains voltage fluctuations without putting unnecessary strain on the batteries. It features an LCD for monitoring status indicators, a built-in SmartConnect port for remote monitoring, and protection against overloads and short circuits.

Line-Interactive Technology & Pure Sine Wave

The unit delivers 1500VA / 900W of power using Line Interactive topology, producing a pure sine wave output. Automatic voltage regulation smooths out power fluctuations without unnecessarily drawing energy from the batteries. In addition, the integrated circuits protect connected devices from overloads, overheating, and short circuits.

2U Rack Design & Installation Flexibility

The chassis features a 2U rack-mount design, measuring 477 x 432 x 86 mm and weighing 28.64 kg. It can also be used in a tower configuration. It includes an IEC 320 C14 input connector and IEC 320 C13 output sockets, making it easier to organize cabling in server racks in professional environments with limited space.

Battery Backup & Fast Recharge

In the event of a power outage, the system provides backup power for 6 minutes at full load and 18 minutes at half load. The instantaneous transfer prevents restarts or the loss of critical data, while the built-in charger fully recharges the batteries in 3 hours. The manufacturer’s warranty also covers the batteries.

LCD Display & Remote Monitoring with SmartConnect
