We have placed it on the back seat headrest, as the car seat is still installed upside down. The mirror is large and having another one on the driver's visor allows you to see the baby quite well. The materials are of good quality, it is well insulated, and the mirror is safety-proof. The apron is stored in a case behind the mirror, so it does not hang if not needed. We have not used it with a tablet yet, although I believe that the membrane of the case in front of it might distort the image.
