Excellent product. It cooks very well after 3-4 uses. Burgers are very juicy and generally all meats. The only thing is it makes a lot of smoke in the kitchen.

Okay, I had a hard time finding my way with the cast iron (first time cooking in such a utensil). I saw that I put it on high to heat up, put oil inside it and then lower the heat a bit, that is, from 9 I go to 7. While I'm cooking, I add a little oil, just enough to keep the surface oiled. Now, with this method, nothing sticks and the truth is that the meat has a different taste in the cast iron.

Personally, I only use cast iron, stainless steel, and glass when it comes to my cookware. No coatings, nothing non-stick. Many of the various cast iron utensils sold here and there have some kind of coating (all coatings wear out over time and end up in our stomachs). Lodge cookware is generally considered among the best in the world, and this grill pan is no exception. Imagine, I don't eat meat so I only use it for fish... a tough challenge! Even though, combined with an induction stove which I haven't yet mastered, I sometimes feel like I've messed things up... the result is always tasty. Yes, food can stick if you don't "burn" the pan well, yes, cleaning and maintenance require effort, time, and passion. So I recommend this particular product only for enthusiasts, for those who prefer something more than convenience, and for those who value their health over harmful PTFEs, PFOAs

    Positive
    1. It makes delicious grilled food (especially meats).
    2. It is very durable and will last you forever. It is of good quality due to the brand.
    3. It is non-stick.

    Negative
    1. It is quite heavy. If you are a woman or do not have enough strength in your hands, it will be difficult for you to use and wash due to its weight.
    2. It is very difficult to clean. It may be because it is a grill pan, but no matter how much I brush it with the lodge brush, even using hot water, it still leaves black residue when I wipe it with a kitchen towel. Especially in the areas where it has grooves, it is not easy to clean at all. If I were to buy it again, I would choose the flat pan instead of the grill type.

I don't know, the meat sticks to it and generally whatever I put on it... The cleaning is a real torture, you have to get the chain that costs... maybe with a flat surface it wouldn't be so difficult to clean

The cookware is what it says. Cast iron. If you don't know, don't buy it. But if you do, you'll enjoy very tasty grilled food. Unfortunately, I don't enjoy it because it smells too much when I grill. I think it needs a fire stove to say that you use it 100%. This cookware needs attention and care, otherwise it will rust.

First of all, if you plan on buying anything made of cast iron, read the cleaning and maintenance instructions carefully. Preferably, visit the company's website.

It does an amazing job at cooking, especially meats. It reaches very high temperatures and, unlike non-stick pans, it is safe at these temperatures. It can also be used in the oven if you want to finish cooking in there.

The negatives are the weight (like all cast iron products) and the maintenance process (it cannot be cleaned for more than 3 minutes after each use).

The well-known Lodge quality. Gives a nice flavor to the meat, reminiscent of grilling on charcoal.

Of course, like all cast iron pans, it requires special treatment to cook properly and not stick.

    - Cooking at low temperature (around 6-7 on the stove's eye).
    - Cleaning with hot water and a sponge (no need for detergent) after it cools down.
    - Wiping immediately to remove moisture and let it dry well.
    - Applying a thin layer of vegetable oil (just enough to make it shine, not to pool).
    - Ready for the next use.

Very good. I use it on a ceramic stove and oven. As other reviews say, it requires special handling, which if you do:
    - it bakes perfectly and evenly
    - it doesn't stick
    - it doesn't rust

Just search on the internet "how to cast iron pan" and after 2-3 videos, you're ready.
