Twelve stories of little Love. One for each month. Stories from the daily life of a child. A child with a disability. A child with Down syndrome. A child like all children.
My wish is that one day we can accept and embrace people with disabilities, some visible and some not, some congenital and some acquired, some permanent and some temporary.
After all, if you think about it, it's not by chance that you are deaf, blind, have Down syndrome, are autistic, quadriplegic, paraplegic, or hemiplegic, or by chance you don't have any intellectual disability, and still by chance you weren't born with another syndrome or condition that would make you belong to the disabled population.
Being disabled means above all I AM HUMAN and I need love and respect!
