This manual comes to fill a very apparent gap in Greek educational literature, as the relevant books that are available have all been written over twenty years ago.

However, it is our belief that a teacher cannot make significant decisions regarding issues in their professional field while solely focusing on narrow methodological problems, without considering or even ignoring the topics related to the curricula.

Moreover, the curricula serve as the official specifications for teaching, and even though the boundaries of a teacher's pedagogical autonomy are broad, they cannot disregard them when planning, executing, and evaluating their teaching.
