See allUsers generally appreciate the build quality and durability of the frappe mixer, especially for professional use. They also note that it operates relatively quietly and is easy to clean, and several have used it for years in cafés or at home. However, some report issues with the motor or speed button, and note that it is bulky.
This year I bought 4 frappe makers, of which 3 broke down due to the motor; I am not going to risk it again. The old ones still work
No comparison to the old Johnny
I bought 2 four months ago and both of them broke the motors
And we used them exactly like the old ones that lasted us 7 years..
A monster to make whatever you want.
The build quality is noticeable. It is very, very superior to the simple/cheap frappé makers.
Two drawbacks I can think of.
First, it is very large and takes up space. If space is an issue, it's good to keep that in mind.
Second, the cup is deep, so sometimes it's more practical to hold the cup by hand instead of hanging it (depending on the amount of water you want).
For everyday home use (after all, it says it's professional), it might be worth getting something cheaper, in the sense that, not that this one isn't worth the money, but it might be too much for the average household.
After seven years of professional use in a café, the motor has started making noise. It's only a matter of time before it completely fails, so a second one was purchased for immediate replacement of the old one when it finally gives out. Great for the intended use, it handles countless coffees without any issues and is easy to clean due to its glossy texture. Highly recommended
Home use, the noise is not comparable to cheaper ones where you think a helicopter will take off. I have it for 5 years and it works perfectly, value for money
