Our traditional games are a part of our childhood from the old neighborhoods of Greek cities and villages. They are products of our popular culture and have their roots in ancient Greece.

Play, whether individual or group, free or directed, holds great value for educators, teachers, and psychologists. It is an excellent means of education, developing the child’s personality and creativity, contributing to their intellectual and physical development, and promoting self-awareness.

Through play, a child is entertained, gains experiences, builds relationships with their environment, and prepares for their future presence in society and involvement in sports.

“The Forgotten Games” is a valuable collection of traditional Greek games. Its realization required long-term educational experience and research. It provides children the opportunity to discover games that have remained unchanged over time and to spend enjoyable hours during school breaks, at playgrounds, at camps, and in the neighborhoods of the concrete city.
