Specifications
The novella "Function in B-flat" by M. Karagatsis (1908-1960) was published in 1943 by the exceptional yet short-lived publisher `Glaros`. It was actually published twice: in the author's collection of short stories titled "Night Story," and as a separate book with woodcuts by Loukia Maggiorou (b. 1914).
Today, "Function in B-flat" is included in two editions by the `Estia Bookstore` featuring short stories and novellas by Karagatsis: "Night Story" (first edition, 1943) and "Stories of Sin and Sanctity" (selection-introduction by Stratis Paschalis, first edition, November 2000).
In this monochrome edition of the novella, which follows the 1943 edition with the woodcuts of Loukia Maggiorou, the spelling has been modernized.
