Practical exercises are considered a valid and necessary tool for teaching law. However, the publication of Constitutional Law practice issues is not common, as its subject is related to political developments and thus the case studies in the field often appear poor. Nevertheless, the thirty years of operation of the constitution have highlighted the most important issues of the constitutional organization of Greek democracy and, at the same time, the increasing influence of constitutional law on legal theory and practice. The selection of public administration executives, the terms of operation of its services, parental relationships, and even the legality of a store's license are assessed with criteria of constitutional law.
This evolution differentiates the teaching needs of constitutional law, as well as the examination procedures, both in academic institutions (promotional, entrance exams) and in competitions concerning the staffing of public administration. This edition attempts to meet the aforementioned needs. The approach to classic issues of constitutional law helps familiarize the reader with the basic questions of political-legal thinking, while the exploration of problems highlighted by political and jurisprudential practice outlines the contemporary functioning of constitutional principles and rules. The 50 exercises are accompanied by directions for answering, which, in turn, guide the identification of the critical parameters of the examined example and facilitate the process of subsumption.
Finally, the edition is complemented by a small number of significant judicial decisions that either provide an opportunity for formulating questions or are commented on with brief observations.
