There are two types of chamomile, German and Roman. They look quite similar in appearance, but German chamomile, which is the most widespread, is considered superior in quality and more potent. Chamomile tea is widely consumed due to its relaxing property, which is useful for achieving calmness. It also has antispasmodic actions, helps against cramps, and reduces period pain in women.

The infusion and essential oil of the plant are traditionally used to relieve irritated skin and are suitable for makeup removal and soothing the eye area. It is ideal even for the most sensitive skin or baby skin. The plant's infusion can also be used for wound cleaning to avoid possible infection and to speed up their healing.
